· Observations
Although it wasn’t my focus today, I rode faster than normal for solo rides. Today’s focus was on pedaling mechanics and high cadence (Cadence is RPMs). I average about 84 RPMs on normal rides. Today I rode at 99 RPMs. Doing this and focusing on mechanics helps you get faster overall. I try to do this once a week. That’s all for today. I’ll probably do a relatively slow moderately lengthy ride tomorrow morning.
