My costume

 
Ok so today was suppose to be my rest day but I could not help it…I went to the gym again. I have all intentions to work for what I want….oh and not to mention my sister told me i looked fat yesterday :(   But in any case, I took it easy today since I have been working out for the past 5 days straight, just took a body pump class and did a little bit of abs.  

Here is a picture of my carnival costume that I have to get into February 2008…..hence all the fuss. By all means I have to look fantastic in my costume ……so the fight goes on :)

where is that ‘cep’???

ok so this is not going very well….i am seeing NO PROGRESS. Shouldn’t I be seeing a lil something by now….a ‘cep’ or a ‘pack’ or a ‘’string’????? A something???? I have not even lost a lb….and if i did it was all water weight so it came back on again. I drink lots of water every day and i have been in the gym everyday….CAN I SEE A SOMETHING ALREADY!!!! **sigh** my motivation is quickly dwindling but I am sticking in there just a bit longer to see what happens. Lucky thing I actually like how I feel when I go to the gym and have a good work out so i will keep on going. Oh another thing…i guess it may be time to put a little effort into fixing up the diet….as cookies and cake is just not cuttting it any more :(

And so it begins

So today is the 1st week into my ‘Get fit for Carnival’ program. This is my short term goal. I will be part taking in a national festival that requires me to wear a skimpy swimsuit while partying in the streets for 2 days. It is tons of fun. But of course getting my body in shape for the occasion is not quite the same. Every year i go through the same thing where i go hard core for about 4 weeks and hope for the best.Bbut as i get up there in age that proves not to be the most effective way to go about doing it. Not to mention as time went by my desire to keep my body in shape through out the entire year grew. So here we are today. We are 6 months out to my festival and the work has just begun. I am excited as hell and only pray that this enthusiasm last with me through out. I can’t wait to try out some new techniques that I see on this site and more so i can’t wait to see some results :) I’m aiming for the toned over all physique with emphasis on a ripped core, shoulders and triceps.
