Knee trouble

Hi everyone, I have been trying to do squats for mass in my legs, but I have a very bad knee, I know the miniscus is tore and I think the ACL is stretched or something, all I know is that it hurts to bend and keep straight.  Any ideas on what I can do to still add mass to my legs until my knee can be fixed. Thanks.

taking time off sounds like a good policy. If it hurts, don’t abuse it. Wait till you get it fixed. See a doctor, get recommendations from him/her. As a trainer, I would require you to get a release, so my advice is to wait it out, let it heal. The LAST THING you want to do is permanently injure yourself, which means no more squatting period.
