Under the Weather

Being sick blows, you want to get out and go to the gym but the body and the meidic say no. its amazing how determined you are to work out when you can’t and how simple it is to just lay there when your healthy. Like when you where younger and your parents tell you not to and you can’t wait for them to blink so you can jump on it.

Anyway i’m feeling much better got cleared today for work so if I can go to work I can go to the gym.

Angry

Ok this is my angry post.

I know was just on holiday and expect things thing not to be so good when I got back. So I returned to my job and to my joy I received the new position I was looking for, so that meant moving, packing up all my crap and getting out of dodge (yeh). So once I arrive at my new place it was time to knuckle down and get back to the business of transforming my body, no problem. I get on the scale after long absence to find the weight has gone up (no biggie) I was at home on the Isles and life was very good.

 

So anyway it been two weeks since I got back on track and to dismay and surprise I got on the scale today and I am up 4lbs. how pissed am I. I don’t get on the scale to often I know the scale doesn’t show what you feel or how your clothes fit, that *%%#@ just shows you a number and that number can %^&* your head. When you know your bustin your butt then that number comes and smacks you. Needless to say I had very intense session this morning cause I was mad. So anyway I cussed the whole time, and then came to work to rant my feelings in my blog.

 

Looking back at myself I feel better have said it, so that’s over back to work tomorrow another day to transform.

 

OUR HERO EMERGES TRIUMPHANT AGAIN

Starting A New

I went on vacation and I had an awesome time, but I find myself lacking all the progress I made before is gone (but not forgotten). I am sure it in there some where I just have to dig it out. My hope is that now that I am starting over at a new location new job new surrounding that I can feet back on track. I am disappointed at myself for falling like I did I was just being lazy (now paying the piper), but a last my determination is strong I will get back and I will do better

VACATION

Ok in bout ten days i will be home in the US its been long time since I’ve been home. I am so excited bout it I don’t know what to do with myself, it’s go time for the gym cause I want to look good when I get there, I’m sure my family will glad to just see me. I have been harder in the gym of late because when I get home its game on, will probably gain a few pounds and I’m prepared for that, cause home cooking I will not refuse I can alomst taste it.

The scale

Ok, so its been a couple of weeks I have working out, I know the song that muscle weighs than fat, but can a sister get a break. I try not to wiegh myself to often cause I just don’t want to know but seems every time I get on a scale the numbers keep goin up!  I can see and feel the differnce in my body since I started but the damn scale.  The damn scale. All my friends they all like you reall y are losing wieght don’t worry but the scale, but the damn scale is driving me crazy. Well thats my vent. Screw the scale its a liar, that my story and I’m sticking to it.

A Defeated Foe

Mean while back in the jungle we return to our hero engaged in a furious battle with her arch enemy Cardio.  They have been duke’n it out now for two week just when we thought our hero couldn’t take anymore she reached within the depths and found the inner strength to go on. We now have confirmed reports that our hero has emerged victorious having defeated 60 minutes of Cardio everyday this week.  When interviewed  our hero had this to say “I know I had to go out and open a can of whoop ass on Cardio he had been terrorized the body so long it time to just put him away for good” well there you have cardio has DEFEATED never to return with any power over the body.  Nikki back to in the studio. Thank you Heart for that great story, in other news…….

Nemesis

April 22, 2008

In my continuing efforts to defeat my foe (cardio) I am getting into a rhythm, this morning I completed 45mins of continuous training on the elliptical machine.  I felt pretty good bout it. I know that I am winning the fight. I like to lift so right now I use cardio as a reward if can get through the cardio part I get to lift. Thinking, one task at a time, first get off the fat, (well some of it) then start lifting for definition.

Decided

Decided toady that when I report for WOC School I want to be in peak condition. I if get and the physical not so hard then I get focused on the mental that much more. Also when I graduate Ican look fly as hell in dress uniform.

The start of a hero

Today I figured out that I am not a fan of CARDIO.  So much so that is I was super hero cardio would be my arch enemy, my nemesis. Day to day we battle (10min 20min 30min oh my there’s more). But like any great super hero I will defeat my foe and stand victorious. People will gather, the crowds will cheer my sucess, it going to be great stay tuned for more.
