general status
June 21, 2009I’ve been on a pretty good routine lately, at least for me. Generally getting to the gym 3 or 4 times a week (biking over on sunny days). Most days I manage an hour on the arc trainer (keeping the heart rate somewhere in the 140 to 150 range generally) and then follow it up with an upper body workout, usually pullups, hanging tricep pushups and some part of a cybex upper body machine routine all for maybe 1/2 an hour. The school year finishes up soon, so my daily routine becomes more fluid and we’ll have to see how well I do at keeping up the routine.
I don’t seem to make much progress in putting on inches of muscle, but I’m pretty happy w/ where I am. We’ll see if I can raise it up a notch and put on a bit more muscle over the summer.
