Cardio finally!!!

Last Friday, I finally did some cardio.  I went swimming for 30 minutes.  It’s a start.  My abs were on fire, and I was beat afterwards.

135lbs on curls

It’s been almost 2 years since I hit 135lbs on curls for 1 rep.  Yesterday, I 135lbs on barbell curls, 1st set for 3, 2nd set for 4, and 3rd set for 2.  I must have had my Wheaties.

It’s so easy..a caveman can do it

I was just explaining my eating to my co-workers, and their attitude was "This is so easy, why haven’t I been doing this before now?".  When I tell them that this transformation happened with no cardio, most are in dis-belief.  Now if I could only convince myself to do cardio consistently, hmmmm.

I just dug up some old progress pics from 2 years ago, when my diet was not on point.  I don’t know what I was thinkin’ back then.  I thought I was such hot shit, cause I was playing semi-pro football.  Looking back then to now, I feel like the Sherman Klump transformation.

11.5% and no cardio. Hell Ya!!!

I got my body fat tested this morning with calipers and found out that I’m 11.5%.   All this with no cardio, just mainly diet and still being REALLY bad on the weekends.  Hell Ya!!!!  Now I just need to keep it consistent and get my weight up now.

Ok, I weighed myself yesterday and I’m 226lbs.  Tomorrow I’m going to get my body fat measured with calipers so hopefully I won’t still be 22% otherwise that’ll suck.  Maybe I’m losing fat from my mid section.

Squat goal hit today

This morning I hit my squat goal I actually hit 365 for 3 times.  I think I could have gone higher but I didn’t want to push it.  It’s about time.  I didn’t get my December goal, but I got it.

Finally did cardio

I finally did cardio this year.  It was not fun.  I ended up doing 25 minutes on the track which I’ve never done.  The first four trips around the track, I did pretty well.  Now I just need to be more consistent.
