Last week, I did 315, 3 sets of 3 reps, and this past Monday I did 295lbs on Incline Bench, both of which I’ve never done. Next week Monday I’m going for it, so wish me luck.
I need to work on proper form for bench press. I’ve been so used to performing bench with my feet on the bench that I don’t have proper form with my feet on the floor. I almost injured myself on Monday going for 345. I felt a strain in my lower back. So now I need to alter my workout to make sure I hit my back more. Plus, it’ll help me with my strength gains.
I have found that my tendonitis was caused by my high cholesterol (genetic). Now that my cholesterol medication has been changed, everything seems better now. I was able to barbell curl 105lbs yesterday, the most I could do before without pain was 65lbs.
