Today’s workout

Today was a pretty tough one considering my legs are still sore from yesterday.  Todays workout was four rounds of running a 1/2 mile all out as fast as possible then resting as needed in between rounds.  My buddy and I decided no more that 3:00 minutes rest between rounds and I ended up knocking all four rounds for a total of 2 miles out in 15:07. I was pretty happy with that time, but next time I want to be in the 13’s.

FRAN

I’ve been really busy with other crap so I havent been keeping up with my writing.  Anyway, yesterday I did a workout known as "Fran".  This is a 3 round workout where round one is 95lb thrusters, and pull ups (21 reps each), then 15 reps, then 9 so all in all you do a total 45 reps of thrusters and pullups with as little rest as possible.  I’m still working on my overall time but I set a goal of not resting at all throughout the first round which I was able to do.  I kind of ran out of steam halfway through the second round and ended up finishing all three rounds in 7:13.  I suppose it’s a respectable time but I want to shave a minute off that time the next time this workout comes around.
