Shoulders and Abs

I have not posted for a couple of days. Its been hard to do during the summer.  I did shoulders, biceps and abs today and yesterday I did chest, triceps and abs. Both workouts were good.  I maintained weight on each.  I feel like I am finally back up to speed after being sick.  I have been trying to change my routines a bit.  I have been doing skull crushes, assisted dips and assisted chin ups.  Also I started to to cable crunches. They kick ass!  I feel them a bit.  Last night I saw my brother and the first thing he did was complement me.  He said he could tell that I have been working out.  That  made my day. Later.

Legs and Abs

I went to the gym tonight and I had a great let workout.  Throughout the day I was dragging and almost went straight home but I said to my self I need to go the gym no matter what.  I am glad I went as I started I had a burst of energy. I wound up having a personal best in squats, calf extensions and leg curls. It was a short workout about 40 minutes but it was a good one.  Now I am going to veg a bit before I go to bed.  Later.

Shoulders

Monday, July 14th, 2008

I went to the gym after work and did shoulders and abs.  I was in a shitty mood. Work totally sucked and my general manager was being such a pain in the @$$.  Right now I am frustrated with work but now is not the time to look for a new job. I started with overhead press and I went up in weight. Then I did Shrugs I went up to 175 lbs.  Then I lat raises and Cuban press.  I finished by doing abs and went 12 minutes on the treadmill.  I needed the workout now I feel a little bit better.  Later

Chest and Tries

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

Today was a big test on how much better I feeling.  Did chest and triceps.  It started well with bench press and inclined  press.  I was started to feel it a little bit by the time I did cable crossovers and when I did French curls. I had to drop weight while doing triceps push downs and French curls.  I thought that I might  have to because I missed 2 weeks of workouts. That  sucks!  Tonight I am a little sore hopefully tomorrow I will have a good back and bicep workout.  Later

Back on Track!

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

I went  back to the gym on Monday.  I did shoulders and some abs.  It was great to get back to the gym. I had no muscle fatigue or pain the next day.

Tonight I did legs. I went up in squats ( my fist exercise) then stayed the same weight for calf extensions.  Leg curls went well also. By the time I did leg extensions I was feeling it. I did 160 for the first 2 sets then dropped to 155 for the last 2 sets. I finished by doing some crunches.  Thats it ! Later.

I am finally feeling better.  Still a little tired.  Its been a busy couple of days. I had a cousin from Greece that came in to town for a couple of days.  We took in  around town and showed him the sites.  If I am feeling better on Monday I plan to hit the gym.  I am going to change around my routine so I can fit chest and tries and back and biceps on my days off on Thursday and Friday.
