This week

I haven’t pasted an entry this week, So I thought I would do a quick entry. I went to the gym on Monday afternoon. My schedule on Mondays change so I will be going to the gym  in the afternoon. I did chest and tries. It was a good workout. I had a new bp on bench.  I woke up on Tuesday and felt like crap. I was all congested and my stomach was gross. I have been sick since then.  I finally went to the doctors today and found out that I have a sinus infection, bronchitis and possibly a touch of pneumonia. Yuck. I still feel lousy and it sucks. I hope I get better soon so I can get back to work and the gym. Later

Legs

Friday, June 20th, 2008

Went to the gym this morning and did legs.  It was a great workout. I went up in weight in all of my exercises.  I had a lot of energy and little to no muscle fatigue.  Yesterday I did shoulders. I have found that separating shoulders and legs have worked out real good and I have had much better workouts.  Tomorrow I go back to work, its the end of my vacation :( Later.

Back and Biceps

Went to the gym this morning.  I did back, biceps and cardio today. It was a good workout for the most part. While doing barbell curls, I started to feel some elbow pain on my right arm.  It continued while doing one arm preacher curl.  I figured I should take a break so I did some cardio. I did 5 minutes on the elliptical machine and 10 on the bike. I am making an effort to do more cardio.  I stopped for a while because I have been trying to gain more. Over the past few weeks I’ve gained about 7 pounds, which for me is a lot. I am a hard gainer. I have been trying to eat more and taking N Large 2. After the bike, I did 4 sets on the machine curls, this time with no pain. Maybe it was just a fluke. And wrapped it up by working on abs.  Its nice to be off and hit the gym when you want.  Later!

What a Blast!

Yesterday I went to the advanced driving school.  It was soo fun.  The head instructor said three things would happen by the end of the day. One you would go backward, two you would go sidewards and three you would wind up with a shit eating grin :) by the end of the day.  Mission accomplished! The first part of the day we learned how to get out of emergency situations with braking and lane changing exercises.  It was good to see what the car can do.  The second part after lunch we went on a skid pad with an instructor and then a figure eight. During this he taught us how to get out of under steer and over steer situations. To aid in this he would pull the emergency brake while going 30 to 35 mph. This would cause the car to go out of control then we would have to get out of it. I was able to do so. By the end of the day I could see a huge improvement.  I am now a much better driver. Hopefully I can do more of these events in the future.

This morning I did chest and tries. The workout was great. I had a lot more energy that I thought I would.  I think I still had some adrenaline from yesterday.  Went up in flies and cable cross overs. I had little muscle fatigue. Now I am just relaxing a bit today and going to so some stuff around my place.  Later!

Shoulders and Abs

Usually around this time I am at work.  Not this weekend, I am on vacation.  I got up and went straight to the gym.  I did shoulders, abs and did 15 minutes on the bike. It was a good workout. I can feel it on my shoulders.  I feel pretty good right now. I have more energy than I have had in a while.  Now the rest of the day I am going to my parents for a cookout. It will be good to see the family. Have a good weekend! Later

Legs

Friday, June 13th, 2008

Went to the gym this morning.  I did legs.  It was a good workout.  I went up in calf extensions, leg extensions and leg press.  After that I did 16 minutes on the bike and wrapped it up working on abs.  I think I might feel it tomorrow…Oh well!  Right now my calves are a little tight I am going do some more stretching before I get too sore.  Tomorrow I am going to do shoulders then head to my parents for a cookout. Thats all for now Later!

Back and Biceps

Went to the gym this morning. I did back and biceps.  It was a good work out. I went up in wight in pull downs, reverse flies and machine preacher curls.  I had a good amount of energy.  Its the first day of my vacation so I was in great spirits. Nine days off.  It will be pretty relaxing. Starting this week I am changing my routine a little bit. I am going to separate my shoulders and leg routine and start doing more cardio. I ended my workout by doing 16 minutes of cardio on the stationary bike.  Later!

Chest, Triceps and Abs

Monday, June 9th, 2008

Went to the gym this morning did chest triceps and Abs.  It was a pretty good workout. I was a little tired because I stayed up late watching the game last night. Go Celtics :) .  Once I started it went well.  I increased weight in inclined press and fly machine.  Now I am going to get ready for work. I do not want to leave my condo. It is so freaking hot and humid. It is finally summer. The upside is I only have 3 more days of work before vacation!  Not going to do a lot. On Saturday I am going to see my parents then on on Sunday I am going to an advanced driving school.  This is through my dad’s BMW club. It should be a blast. The rest of the time some good old R&R. Legs Today

Friday, June 6th, 2008

I had some things that I had to do this morning, so I was not able to get to the gym until this afternoon.  I did Legs and Abs.  I had a personal best with squats and leg curls.  I was a bit tired so I kept my workout short. I feel more energized now. I almost bagged my workout today. I am glad I went.  The countdown begins for me 5 days until vacation! Later.

Back and Biceps Today

I went to the gym this morning did back and biceps.  It was a tough workout.  I was exhausted.  Its been a long week at work.  I am mentally burnt out.  Luckily  in another  week I am on  vacation.  I can wait.  I am thinking of changing up mu workout a bit.  I am right now do a 3 day split and work out four days a week, repeating what was done on day one on day four.  Something to think about.  Any ideas would be appreciated thanks!
