Legs and shoulders

Busy day today. This is the first time I had a chance to post today.  This morning I had someone from our condo association come in to install a new digital thermostat.  He was 45 minutes late so buy the time he was done I rushed to get the gym.  Did legs and shoulders.  I went up in overhead press and squats.  It was a good work out.  I can tell I am making steady progress especially with legs. This afternoon I have been working on my resume and looking at jobs online.  Any one looking for a sales rep in MA? Later

Back and Biceps

Went to the gym this morning. I could not wait.  I have  been mentally and physically tired the past few days, but this morning I had the energy to go.  Did back and biceps. I was able to increase weight and had little muscle fatigue.  It was a great workout.  After that I went tanning afterwards. It was nice and relaxing.  The countdown begins.  I am on vacation in two weeks.  I can not wait. I have a lot of things I have to do.  Have a good day everyone!

Chest, Triceps and Abs

Went to the gym this morning. Did Chest Triceps and Abs.  It was a good work out.  I needed it. The past few days.  Work had been nuts and I had a family emergency.  It was a great way to blow off some steam.  I can tell that I am making some steady progress. Now I am going to relax for a few while then get ready for work. Yeah! Have a great day everyone.

Back & Shoulders

Went to the gym this morning. Did back and biceps.  It was a great workout I had a lot of pent up energy that I needed to get out. The sets were well.  The back portion was real good, and biceps went pretty good. By the time my last set of machine curls I was at almost at muscle failure.   I finished off by tanning for 10 minutes.  Its nice and relaxing after a good workout. I really need this. This week at work was crappy.  Not only did my pay get chopped but now I have to work more hours!  This is getting nuts Later

Back to the Gym!

Went to the gym this morning. It was the first time in almost 2 weeks.  I did chest and triceps.  The first couple of sets felt great! I had a lot more energy throughout the workout.I am a little sore right now but its a good sore.  I was sick for about 10 days and went to the doctors, they couldn’t find anything wrong.  Thank God. I wanted to go to the gym on Monday but I had a manager’s meeting early so I did not have time to go.  My plan going forward is to hit the gym 4 days in a week.  Later!

Rest Week

I have been away from the gym this week.  Last week I planed to take the week off to give my body a rest. I did that but I also had a little bit of a health scare.  On Sunday morning I felt light headed and some discomfort in my chest.  I went to my doctors and then to my cardiologist.  Luckily I am okay. I had heart  surgery when I was 10 years old  and I have been fine since then. My biggest fear was that something was wrong. My cardiologist said everything is fine. It was either a bruised rib or a pulled muscle. I fell very lucky I really had a scare. Hopefully I will be feeling better soon. If I am better I plan to hit the gym on Sunday. Have a good weekend everyone!

Legs and shoulders

Went to the gym this morning I did legs and shoulders.  The shoulder potion was tough.  I had no energy in my upper body.  I feel sore in my shoulders and back.  My Legs potion went real good.  With legs went up in weight with calf press leg press and leg curls.  I have decided to take a few days off.  I may go to the gym Monday and just do some cardio and abs.  It seems that I am not recovering as quickly as I did a few weeks ago. I hope the time off will do my body good! Later.

What a difference a week makes!

Last week I was saying how I had a couple of great workouts and I was full of energy.  This week I am physically and mentally tired.  I went to the gym and did back and biceps.  It was a struggle to get through it.  I had to take longer breaks in between sets. I also have minor aches and pains.  I might be over training.  I am not too sure if I should take some time off or change my routine.  Some things to ponder.  Any advise would be appreciated. Later
