Great Workout

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Went to to the gym this morning.  I did back , biceps and abs.  Over the past few days I have a couple of great workouts! I have been full of energy and little to no muscle fatigue.  I was able to increase weight doing back and biceps.  I increased weight while doing seated rows, and dual pulley rows.  I also increased  weight with  the cable curl  and dumbbell preacher curls.  Afterwards I was full of energy and feel great.  To everyone who celebrates Orthodox Easter this Sunday, have a Happy Easter! I have Sunday off and will be celebrating with my family.  Later.

Crappy Week

I could not wait to get out of work for the week and hit the gym.  Its been a week from hell.  I found out Monday that my pay plan is changing and I am going to take a big pay hit.  I have a lot of tough decisions to make over the next few weeks.   I did shoulders and legs.  It was a great workout. I  had a lot of energy and went up in weight during my leg workout.  However wile doing leg extensions my legs had no energy and hit failure big time.I could only do 9 reps at 145 lbs and had to drop to 140 lbs for the forth set.  I soon recovered  and finished my workout strong.  Now I am going to hit the shower and go to bed.  Later.

Gaining

Monday, April 21st, 2008

I woke up this morning and went the on the scale.  I am now up to 159.5 lbs. N-Large-2 is working great!  I went to the gym this morning and did back, biceps and abs.  I also did 13 minutes on the treadmill.  I haven’t  been doing cardio for a while so I am going to start doing it about twice a week.  My workout was great.  I went to bed early last night and had a lot of energy this morning.  I went up in weight while doing biceps.  For the first time in a while I did not feel any muscle fatigue or soreness. I feel great right now and am making steady progress. Later

Day off did my body good!

The day off on Wednesday did me good.  I work up, went to the gym and had a great shoulder and leg workout.  I hardly had any shoulder pain and felt great after the workout.  I went up in squats, leg press and calf extensions.

Last night I went out to dinner with my parents.  They wanted Chinese food which is not the most healthy.  My mom asked me what I wanted, and I made sure it was somewhat healthy, no spareribs, pork fries rice or chicken fingers. We got beef and veggies and vegetable rice.

This morning  Did chest and tries.  I went up in weight with a couple of triceps exercise. I feel great right now and have a lot of energy this morning.  As an added bonus its a grea day outside.  I might go for a walk this afternoon.  Later!

Night Off

Usually at this time of night I am on Wednesday I am at the gym. Tonight I decided to take the night off. This is the first time in over a month that I won’t be able to go to the gym 4 days this week.  I have been feeling a little sore in my shoulder and back for the past few days.  Its also been a long week at work.  I had early meetings all week so I had could not sleep in at all.  Also today my managers were bitching at us all day.  No mood to work out. So tonight I am going to get to bed early tonight so I can get up early to go to the gym and work my butt off tomorrow.Before I do that I am going to order more N large 2 and Animal pack. N Large 3 has worked great! I have been gaining weight over the past couple of weeks.  Have a good night. Later.

Chest, Triceps and Abs

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Went to the gym this morning. Did Chest, Tries and Abs.  I hit the gym at the right time.  It was a ghost town there.  Even the cardio machines were empty.  The workout started out well. Bench press went good. I started with lighter weights and went up.  Inclined press went well also, I really could feel it.  Then as I was doing cables the pain in my rotator cuff again.  and lingered through out the rest of my workout. This afternoon I  read a few articles on rotator cuff exercises.  I am going to start doing a few of these on shoulder days.  Hopefully it will work.  If not I will go and see the doctor. Have a good weekend everyone! My work week starts tomorrow.  Yeah :( Later.

Shoulders and Legs

I got to the gym this morning.  I wanted to sleep in but I had some furniture delivered this morning  real early, could not get back to sleep so I hit the gym early. I did shoulders, legs and abs.  It was a good workout. Shoulders went well I went up with overhead shoulder press. Legs also went well.I went up in leg press.  I can tell I am making progress ever since I added a 4th day to my workout about a month ago.  Now I am just doing relaxing a bit before I have lunch.  Its a great day. Its going to be around 70 today.  Later

Chest, Triceps and Abs

Monday, April 7th, 2008

Went to the gym this morning. Did chest triceps and abs.  It was a tough to get going.  Mentally I was not it in.  I have a meeting this afternoon and I don’t think its going to be good.  Some people in my group haven’t done what they should be doing. I know I’ll be okay, but the anticipation of the meeting had been on my mind this morning. I dropped weight with bench, so I could concentrate on form.  My rotator cuff acted up again as I was doing cable crossovers.  Triceps went well.  Now I am having an early lunch before I head into work. Later.

Shoulders and Legs

So much for the nice spring weather of yesterday. Today is damp,cool,yuck!  Went to the gym this morning did Shoulders, Legs and Abs.  I have been trying to change my shoulder routine a little bit.  Its seems like it takes me forever to increase weight when I do shoulders.    Legs went well.  I can tell that I am consistently progressing with legs. Any feedback on shoulders would be greatly appreciated. Later!

Back and Biceps

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Went back to the gym this morning. I feel a lot better than i did last night.  Mentally I felt better especially after getting a good nights sleep. I did back, biceps and abs. I was a lot more focused so I had an overall better workout. I pushed myself to add more weight to keep up the momentum I have had over the past few weeks. I felt a lot better when I left the gym.  Also I have gained a couple of pounds this week. I have been stuck around 155 for a bout a week or two now I am around 157.  For me this is big. I am a very hard gainer.  On top of it all its getting warmer! Its in the mid to high 50’s yeepee! :)   I know you guys in warmer parts must think I’m nuts but its starting to finally feel like spring up in MA.  Later!
