Shoulders, Legs and Abs

I went to the gym a little bit earlier than usual because I had to go to work early today.When I got home from the gym I did not get a chance to do my blog entry. I did shoulders, legs and abs. The workout was pretty good.  I feel like I am hitting a wall with shoulders.  When ever I do lat raises or front raises it seems like I can not increase weight.  I am thinking of changing my shoulder routine any suggestions would be helpful.  The leg portion was  good. Its around 10 PM and my legs are a little bit sore.

I received my order of  N Large 2 the other day. Hopefully I will be able to increase weight. Good night everyone!

Hard to get out of bed.

It was so hard to drag my butt out of bed this morning. Today is rainy and cold in MA. Yesterday was sunny and warmer than it has been. Spring in New England for you.  Finally got to the gym and did back biceps and abs.  It was a good workout, once I got going.  Biceps and Abs went real well. I had no muscle fatigue and no pain in my rotator cuff like yesterday.  I increased weight and reps on the ab exercises.  I can tell I am making progress with my abs.  The are not 6 pack by far but they are getting tighter and flatter.  Now I am having some lunch. Still raining we may get some sleet and snow.  I hope spring comes soon! Later.

Chest, Triceps and Abs

Went to the gym this morning a little later than usual this morning. I spent part of the morning doing chores around the house.  I did chest, triceps and abs. I went up on bench press. The first couple of sets went well but struggled the last couple of sets even after I dropped weight.  While doing inclined dumbbell press I felt a little twinge in my right rotator cuff. I lasted through part of cable cross overs then ended. During the past couple of weeks my rotator cuff has bothered me a little bit while doing chest exercises.  The rest of my workout went well.  Now I just finished lunch and I am going to run some errands. Later.

Shoulders Legs and Abs

Went to the gym tonight. Did Shoulders, Legs and Abs. During the day I was contemplating just going home. My body was dragging all day but my mind wanted to get the the gym ASAP! My Mind won.  It was a good workout.  Shoulders went well.  I can tell my shoulders are getting stronger.  The leg portion of my workout was great. I was able to increase weight with Squats and Leg Presses.  I feel pretty good. My legs are a little sore but its a good sore. Now I am just relaxing a bit before I hit the hay. Goodnight everyone!

Chest, Triceps and Abs

Went to the gym this morning.  I got up early because I could not sleep that well.  Yesterday I bought a new mattress so hopefully I can get a better sleep. I was  a little bit tired when I got to the gym.  I did chest, tries and abs.  As the workout went along I woke up more and got a lot more energy. It wound up being a real good workout and I feel energized. I was able to increase weights with the inclined dumbbell press and triceps pull downs.  Now Its lunch time.  Have a great Easter everyone.  Later!

Last 2 Days

This is an update of my last 2 trips to the gym.  Last night I went after work.  It was really needed.  I was pretty mentally drained and I just needed a good pump.  I did Back and Biceps.  It was a good workout.  I hit the gym right. As soon as I got there the gym emptied out.  I was able to increase weight on a number of exercises (dual pulley row, seated rows and reverse flies).  Then I did Biceps which was pretty good.

This morning I did shoulders and legs.  I was a little tired becasuse I did not sleep as well as I wished.   It was a good workout for the most part. My back is a little sore from last night’s workout.   Shoulders went pretty well. Then I did legs.  It seems that with legs I was able to increase weight.  Overall I feel good and I can tell I am making progress.  Later.

Chest, Triceps and Abs

I had one of my few Sundays off today.  Last night I was so tired I went to bed real early and it paid off.  I got a great sleep and woke up at  7 am and went straight to the gym. Got to the gym soon after it opened and it was very quiet.  Did chest, tries and abs.  It was one of the best chest workouts I have had in a while.  Bench Press was great.  I was able to increase weight and do a number of reps. Did 4 sets with little fatigue.  I feel like I am making progress with chest when the last week or so I thought I hit a wall. Triceps went well, I was able to increase weight with triceps pull down with rope and French curls. Overall it was a very good workout.  Later on I went to my sister’s place for lunch . She and my brother in law own a bakery and deli.  Overall it was a very good Sunday.  Now its dinner then rest a bit before I start it all again! Later.

Great Workout Today!

Went to the gym today.  Did Shoulders, Legs and Abs.  It was a great workout.  I went up on Overhead press.  I had hardly any muscle fatigue.  The rest of shoulders went well also.  I then I did legs.  For the first time I added squats to my leg routine.  I went a little lighter then I probably could have, but I wanted to just have a feel for it.  I then I finished up with abs.  I was drenched by the end of my workout and I feet great. Later!

Back Biceps and Abs

Went to the gym this morning did back, biceps and abs.  I couldn’t wait to get there this morning. There has been a lot going on the past few days so I just wanted to zone out for a while. It was a great workout.  Back went real well then I did Biceps. Biceps was a little tough.  I have been using more dumbbells to even out my arms a bit. My left arm is bigger than my right arm because of heart surgery when I was 9 years old. Alternating bicep curls were a little tough but the rest or the sets got better.  I finished up by hitting my abs pretty hard.  I feel great now.  A little sore but its a good sore.  Now lunch!  Later

Chest and Tries

Went to the gym tonight after work.  I could not wait to get there.  All day at work I was thinking of going.  It also did not help with my coworker who started me at the gym that I am going to.  He kept on egging me to go tonight.  I did Chest and Abs.  Bench press was a little tough.  I was struggling during my third set, but I kept concentrating on form.  The rest of my workout went well.  Now I am just relaxing a bit before I get some Z’s.   Goodnight all!
