Blog Entry
May 5, 2007So, for my first post, I’ve decided to share an experience that has been occurring more and more frequently at my gym, and it goes something like this:
I’m working through a set, but finding it hard to concentrate, because there are people EVERYWHERE in the gym doing exercises with PISS POOR FORM.
Good for you, you’ve lowered a barbell with 225 pounds down 3 inches. You even managed to keep the elbows locked for the entire lift.
How about kids who start their workout with a damn DROPSET of PREACHER CURLS? Yeah…rep out that 55 pounds, with your spotter encouraging you, and possibly doing more work than you. Then call that an "awesome workout!" Then proceeed to do concentration curls with…wait for it…twenty five pounds. Wonderful.
Consider those guys that throw 315 on the bar, and bend a little bit…oh, wait, was that supposed to be a squat?
…I couldn’t tell.
I wish there were a better way for people to boost their egos besides clogging up the gym and outright offending serious people like me.
Gah.
Welcome!
