Getting pumped up is not usally the right thing to do

Well I documentary about Speed by Jeremy Clarkson and noticed that the people who are calm and with low heart beat rate could know what to do even in the most fataful critical sitautions which is usally pretty good for sport.
Even there are two schools of martial arts. One that depends on the strength and adernile flow through the blood and the other is the calm flowy type. All have there disadvantage and advantage too.
I am going for the calm type right now because I wanna think clear even in dreadful sitaution I could think clearly and know what I wanna do.
