-------------- (day 1)

Good morning. This was my first morning. I got up extra early because I needed to be in at work earlier this morning since I was leaving early.

I went to Anthony (at my work) to see what he suggested on losing weight and he suggested running and of course, I gave him the evil eye, but THAT didnt bother him much.

Someone else suggested the gym, but I'm trying to keep my expenses down and who needs to pay an establishment money when all I'm going to do is run/walk anyway? Might as well do that at the park near my place ;)

So, I did a 'Forrest Gump' and went running! I walked over to the park (it was kinda muggy and so I took my inhaler) and when I got on the path, I took off. Ha! I never know how to pace myself, but that's ok, I'll eventually learn.

I ran as far as I could, I think it was 1/8th of a mile and then walked another 1/8th cuz by the time I reached the mile marker, it said 1/4th ha ha ... the path winds all around the park and equals 1 mile.

I was out for 35/40 minutes between walking and running today.

My initial feelings after the run was tired and the bed sounded good, but when I got back to my place, my mind kicked into gear and did my early morning routine of getting ready for work.

I'm here now. I know I did SOMETHING, but not feeling like I did anything ...

Although, I am looking forward to reaching my goals.
