Okay so I haven’t blogged in awhile, but I’m a little frustrated right now and I need to vent!.. Okay, so I’m at the gym 5-6 days out of the week, and most of the people there know me and are always friendly. Except for one, there is a female trainer there ( she’s been there about 6months now). For some reason from day 1 she’s been giving me dirty looks.. What did I do ? ( I wondered to myself)..Nothing, that’s what. Now the dirty looks didn’t really bother me, but now she’s been making comments about me to the other trainers when I’m around and because they encourage her by laughing, she keeps doing it. According to other gym members that notice this, they feel like she’s jealous because alot of people assume that Iam a trainer by looking at me, and she doesn’t even look like one. Oh, by the way one of her clients came up to me and asked me for advice right in front of her! (how funny
.. Anywho, today was the day that I was just tired of the petty crap, I feel like I’m in highschool when I go there, because that is the only time I can remember a person being so silly and immature. So as I sat there boiling, wondering how to handle the situation without being dragged out of there in handcuffs(j/k)..my friend told me to bring it up to management.. I was a little apprehensive because I didn’t want to seem like a tatle tale
, but went ahead and did it, by the time I was done talking to them within 5 min. I was leaving the gym and everyone at the front desk already heard about my complaint and they were all being nosy trying to get info out of me.. One of the trainers that usually always talks to me when he sees me, walked by me looking down to avoid making eye contact.. So now I’m wondering if things will be even more awkward when I go in tomorrow.. I don’t know, how would you have handled the situation? comments and suggestions would be appreciated

Okay so this is my first blog, being that for some reason mine never worked before. Anyway I figured I write about how sore my body is today. LOL. Yesterday at the gym I had a trainer approach me and asked if he could show me a couple things. I have spoken with him before and he did mention then that he would like to train me someday. Anyway yesterday was the day that I said okay and gave him a try. First off I am not a cardio fan, and he’s all about training someone to be able to move quickly! He put me on the treadmill and had me sprininting/ and walking. I was only on for 12mins and did over a mile. Now for some that’s not a big deal, but for me it is because I never even thought I could run as fast as I did. I was always afraid that I would go flying off the machine or maybe I just didn’t have the endurance for it . It felt so good to have someone push me a little further so that I can see that there is alot more that I can do. Any way after that we did some hanging leg raises, which were brutal but I loved at the same time! Everything was done in very slow motion so I really felt the burn, there was hardly any rest in between sets and if my form was off by the slightest he would start counting all over again. uhhh. After the hanging leg raises he had me do alot of jumping. He marked a certain spot on the wall and I would have to jump and hit that spot everytime unitl he told me to stop. And again if I didn’t do it right it would cause me to have to do extra because he would start the count over. I was so out of breath and before I could completely catch my breath in between sets it would be time for me to start again. The final exercise was also the jumping but this time I would jump and hit that spot on the wall and then drop down and kick my feet out behind me, bring them back in quickly and jump up and hit the spot again. This went on for what felt like forever! And although I felt like I would just collapse at some points, at the end I just felt so good. I love having someone push me past what I think I can do. There’s always more that you can do even if it’s" just a little more". After training with him I still went ahead and did the workout that I originally had planned.(shoulders & legs)
This morning though and all day today, my back and chest is very sore. I know that it’s because of the new exercises that I introduced my body to yesterday. My muscles were obviously not use to those type of movements. But trying something new is always good right? Shocking your body =more growth right? So that is my plan now to start implementing more new ways to exercise, especially when it comes to cardio. There is so much more than just running endlessly on the treadmill or being on the elliptical for what seems like eternity:0. Well hope my blog wasn’t too boring. I think I’ll be doing this more often..kinda fun
