got “off the wagon”….

….and am NOW tyring to get back on.  This all started back in October of 2008 when I learned I had a cartilage tear in my right knee.  Needless to say, I got very depressed about it.  I want right back to my old eating habits just to make myself feel better.  All this crap food when right into my mouth.  I also didn’t work out, afraid I might hurt my knee more.  I did have surgery and it fixed it fine.  Before the surgery, I was limping on my right knee and it was VERY exhausting!  I was off work for two weeks and got the ok to go back Dec 5th–I was so glad to get back.  The surgen said it was ok to do the bike and not to run (which I don’t do!)  During this time, I had physical therapy too–that was before going back to work. Now my knee felt fine until the second week.  I was at the store and twisted my right knee on an end-cap!  Hurt like hell and I was so AFRAID I had retorn the cartilage.  I had an appointment this past Monday with the surgen and told him what happpend–he checked it and said I only sprained it.  Was I relieved?  Hell yes!!! For the whole month of Dec, after I twisted my leg, I got MORE depressed and just ate and ate.  Now, I’m back at the gym and am getting back into it.  No leg stuff right now, I was told.  But everything else is ok!
