I decided not to use any (although I was taking whey protein but decided not to use it–I get enough in my real meals) It’s just that I remembered I never used any before when I was weight training and did fine without them; so, why start now? Plus, it’s not like I need to add on weight! So, from now on, no supplements for me.

…but he’s our cheat." This is what a fan said about Barry Bonds; I heard this story this morning on the national news. It was about how he’s so adored by his hometown fans. People say they’re so excited to see him play how they hope he hits more homeruns. Also, how the park is sold out each game at home when he’s playing. It just makes it wrong if you ask me. How using drugs makes someone a heroe is beyond me.

So I hadn’t made my goal of loosing 10 pounds for 7/27. (I did loose 5 instead) I have to come up with a tangable goal now; a new one. I’m having a tough time trying to decide what it should be. It was easy when it came to loosing the weight but now that I’ve platued, I have to come up with something new. I have to think about it hard and careful. Hhmmm….

Well, my goal from last month was that by this day 7/27, was to have lost another 10 pounds. The bad news is it didn’t happen; I’m now at 253 and can’t seem to move below it. However, I did loose the first five pounds of my goal. I’m not getting upset about this. I think my weight has platued for right now. My body is still changing and I can see the changes every week; so I know it isn’t my diet or workout that failing me. Maybe failing is the wrong word. My diet and workout are doing great by me! (that’s better!) So, I have to set a new goal now. I think it’ll be to push myself a little more each workout to be the best me I can be!!

today, after working out, this regular asked how I was doing. I said fine and explained how eating five small meals has made such an incredible difference for my program. He said he had a Burger Kings breakfast sandwich and a granola bar for lunch; he said he was feeling tired. I wonder why? Anyway, I said how I prepack my meals for work the next day. I said, "I wish I could do that. If I had the time." I said to him, "just find the time and do it. Turn that I wish into I will." So, there’s something for all of us to think about; stop wishing for result and say I will get results!

…I heard this story this morning on the national news. A study was done and they (I forget who did the study) found that bottled water is no different than tap water! It’s mostly for conveinance that we even buy it. And, Dassani and Aquafena is tap water filter over again and again! The idea was to just drink the tap water and get rid of the waste with the bottles. Oh, cry me a river!

When I first began my program here, at BodyBuilding.com, I started at 288. I’d really forgotten that before I started here, I’d all ready been working out for two years prior. But, at that time, I did nothing about a nutrition plan. At that time, I weighed 316. So, from then up to now, which I now weight 253, I’ve not just lost 35 pounds, but really 63 pounds in all. That makes me feel really great!

So, I written down a new goal for this Friday. It was that I was to have lost another 10 pounds. I lost five but that last five doesn’t want to move out. I’ve left it eviction notice after eviction notice and no luck. So, am I to assume that my current weight of 253 is the weight that’s meant for me? I don’t mind if it is; as long it turns out to be muscle!

My friend at work, this is the guy who ate 48 popsicles for supper got angry at me this morning. He’s sitting across from me, gulping down two jelly filled crullers. I said to him, "Andrew, I don’t mean to be nosey, but do eat any protien at all?" He says to me, "What? I don’t have time to figure out what has protien in it! What has protien in it?" I gave him my list. He says, "Well, I have some chicken if my wife makes it for supper." You have to understand, this guy is thin as a rail. I don’t know how his body tolerates all that sugary stuff he eats instead!
