Next Wed and Thursday, I have to attend a mandatory training; it runs from 2pm-4pm; this sucks! I leave work usually at 3pm and am at the gym by 3:40 to start working out. This time, my workout time will be all messed up! I was talking to a coworker about this today. I said I was planning to reschedule those workouts and she had some great advice; "I wouldn’t do that," she said. "Just go and do your workout on those days like you usually do." I realized she was right! Sometimes you need to hear it from someone else to "see the light."

I knew that when I went shopping his morning, my man would want his burgers and hot dogs. I had to plan differently for myself; so I did. I bought ground chicken for my burgers–I’ll make two from the pack. My man has his two beef burgers. I won’t even go near the hot dogs; just looking at a hot dog now makes me weak and weapy! I did buy a one pound container of potatoe salad and will have some of that but not much. Also, some corn on the cobb too; one for me and two for my man. It’s funny now how I just plan ahead for these things when they come up; and, I’m talking days or even a week before! This is something I would’ve never thought of doing before; when I had my bad eating habits and all. Life’s a banquet but you’ve got to plan on what to have!

I had to really plan for this weekend; especially for Saturday. We went to see our friend in Queens. I knew the gym wouldn’t be open early enough for me to get in my cardio or ab routine. So, I was up at 3am and did my 30 minutes or cardio around the condo complex. And, after that was done, I came home and did my abs. I was glad not to miss it just because of our trip!

Well, after twelve weeks on my program, I’m happy to say I’m pleased with my new progress pics! I can really see the difference from when I started to now; especially in my stomach! This is what it’s all about for me–seeing the results from all this hard work. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next twelve weeks!

One important thing I’ve learned from all my workouts and eating regime, is that it’s up to me to make it or break it. No one else can do this for me but myself. I can’t ask anyone else to eat the foods that would make me feel better; I have to eat them. I can’t ask anyone else to do the exercises for me; I have to do them to loose the weight and gain the muscle. I know that sometimes when things in your life can seem out of control and it’s all a jumble, I can take control of this one aspect of my life. I’ve learned to depend aupon myself in this way. It’s like becoming your own best friend. And, the other interesting thing is, that my bodies been changing, some people around me have become jelous or feeling threatend. I think people can become too confortable in how they see you and when there’s any change made, you now become a threat to that person or persons. But that’s not my fault. I’m doing good for me and I’m certainly not stopping now! Look out world; here I come!!

This Friday marks three months that I’ve been following The Men’s Body Sculpting Bible routines. It hasn’t been easy sometimes; especially the last two weeks of each program. But, it’s been very satisfying to see what’s happened to my body and the incredible remarks some you here and my coworkers and friends have said; a big Thank You to all for the Great support this site offers. I’ll be posting some new progress pics this weekend too. Can’t wait to see what’s in store next for by body!

This morning, instead of waiting for the gym to open at 7am to do my treadmill workout, I decided to walk around my condo complex instead; you know, breath the fresh air get those arms swining–all that good stuff. I did my 40 minutes and found my feet hurt even more. I think I like the treadmill better and for several reasons. I’m sure the tread you walk on is made to cushion your walking–that I like. I also know there’s no way in heck I’m walking in humid weather or the freezing cold either! So, I probably won’t be doing the "condo walk" again! Treadmill, I miss you baby and will never cheat on you again!

I know it’s only been three months that I’ve been doing my program, but sometimes I feel like is all this going to make a change? I’ve been eating much better, small meals, and have lost twenty pounds so far–it’s to easy to get sad over it and keep going on with it. I guess a lot of has to do thinking that changes will happen overnight and wave that magic wand and "poof" you’ve lost the weight. The bottom line is, it does take time and I just need to keep that in mind and not loose track of that. Today is leg, shoulder and calve day though–I’m always excited about doing my workout!
