Well, we recently went on our babymoon to Key West with our friends the Cahills. It was a supplement company vacation! I’m a Prolab athlete, Danny works for Gaspari, and the Cahills own Driven Sports. We all had a great time.

A few days after returning home, we got to find out the gender of our baby to be… it’s a BOY! We’re very excited to meet our son in January. I’m already deep into the baby registry and Danny talks to my belly on a regular basis.

Axl the puppy is growing up a little, and is very affectionate. Little does he know, but he’s about to get the big snip (neuter) in a few weeks.

I’m still lifting my little 10 lb DBs, and still taking my Prolab protein… staying fit during pregnancy but not restricting myself. People seem to be surprised a lot, and tell me I look great… were they really expecting me to turn into some slob? Anyway…
Hope you all are having a great week!

‘Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.’

Success is a collection of relationships. Your future is connected to people, so develop people skills. Without patients, a doctor has no one to heal. Without a composer, a singer has nothing to sing.

Random thoughts:
We eat a ridiculous amount of meat in this house.
The true test of relationships is not only how loyal we are when friends fail, but how thrilled we are when they succeed. Many average people do not want others to go beyond average. The question we must ask ourselves is this: Do I enjoy and root for the success of my friends?

I am going back and forth in my head whether or not I can afford to compete this year (both monetarily and time consumption). The jury is still out. The Atlantic City is around the time I would want to compete, but they don’t offer FBB. The Brooklyn show is in October this year, but it’s not a NQ.
Monotony is a rapid ager. The mind grows stale very quickly under a monotonous life, a humdrum existence.* Lack of growth, of interest, of change is fatal. People who live the same kind of life year in and year out age rapidly. The shriveling up process, the wrinkles, all appear in the mind first. Keep changing. Stay fresh, stay excited….

My set point weight seems to be falling between 128 and 132 regardless of caloric intake, which means I’m just really working on improving composition for the remainder of this bulk and I can leave the scale alone. While I look better at this 132 than I looked at my previous 125, I am soft.
Diet will improve this week! Getting paid means groceries, and groceries are good.
Rejection is not fatal.* It’s merely someone’s opinion.

Supplement notes: I’m going to use Cardio Blast on my leg days and Nitro Fire on my other days. Cardio Blast gives me good energy without the pump, and I do not like to use pump products on leg day!
My legs are a bit toasted already, even though I stretched well.
Adversity is NOT our greatest enemy.. Someone once said.. “Cripple a man and you’ve got Sir Walter Scott.. Lock him in prison and you have John Bunyan.. Bury him in the snows of Valley Forge and you have George Washington. Raise him in poverty and you have Abraham Lincoln.. Deafen him and you’ll have Ludwig van Beethoven. Call him a slow learner, retarded, and write him off as uneducatable and you’ll have Albert Einstein..”

I trained Delts and Calves on Thursday, Arms and Abs on Friday. Due to traveling for Dan’s show, I was unable to train this weekend. Legs and Abs yesterday. OUCH!

Tammy Patnode
Supplement Stuff
As per Hany, I am taking Prolab Glutamine 4x/day - upon waking, pre-WO, PWO and before bed. I am taking Creatine and Humino MAAX pre-WO and PWO. My staple supps (vitamins, fish oil, etc) remain as they were.
Training Stuff
While I can’t tell you my training these days (pay Hany for your own! ), I’ll tell you my 7s:
Delts: Machine Side Raises and Rev Pec Dec
Arms: Low Cable Straigh Bar Curls and SkullCrushers
Legs: Hack Squats and Kneeling Curls
Hany has me pushing the bar toward the back wall rather than straight up on the Skulls. This shit is tough!!

Lori Steele
Of course, I can’t tell you what I’m eating either, but count the meals! Trust me, they are BIG too!

I have a lot of work to catch up on at the office, and I seem to be up late since I have a huge volume of food to cook these days!
As long as I have a desire, I have a reason for living. Satisfaction is death. We must find a great reason to wake up every morning!
