Food makes for great lifts. After having our Saturday night cheat meal with Chris (NNI) at Goodfella’s, I hit delts with some decent weight last night. Then it was time for some higher intensity cardio. I am ready for a total break for a few weeks come next weekend.

Random thoughts:
It is COLD!! Summer is over for sure. I hate when I get chilly. Anything under 75 degrees is just not a good time for me. I have a bad habit of moving to warmer climates in the winter and I have to admit it’s tempting already and fall has barely set in. It’s mostly the dread of standing on the elevated train platform in the wind and snow.
In order that people may be happy in their work, these three things are needed: They must be fit for it. They must not do too much of it. And they must have a sense of success in it.

I just did some arm stuff at home w/DBs. I’m so incredibly tired all of the time, and my dumb heels are dry, cracked and bleeding again. Seriously, I have had more problems with my feet in the last 4 months than I’ve had since birth.

I have taken the last two days off - one for being tired after training 4 days in a row, and one for Prolab demos in the city. I’ll be going back tonight for arms, but until then, I’ll leave you with a shot from CSI Photo. This shoot was the day before the NA’s in Cleveland.

Tanned after the gym - gotta’ look like I belong in Vegas next week.
I need to figure out who is doing my makeup there.

120 lbs now. Most of the water has come off from my rebound hell so I’m not a bloated whale and my face looks normal again, lol.
I am getting ready to work the Prolab booth at the Olympia, which involves skimpy apparel, so after a week of insanity, we are back on track, with calories slightly above contest prep and using almost all the same foods.
No more morning walks for me; I set the alarm, but now it’s DARK at 6am and I am just not feeling the need to walk outside in the dark.

I’ve been off the computer this weekend, so I have some training updates to hit up!
Saturday was Chest and Cardio day:
Inc DB Press
Hammer Strength Press
Flat DB Fly
Pushups
Bleacher Run
I am getting super sore very easily - still not used to normal training yet. Saturday was the last day of eating junk - we went out for a nice dinner at Villa Paradiso and then Sunday morning was back to the no-carb diet!

I trained for the first time last night (since my season concluded). It was a completely different experience to touch the weights again with some serious calories in my system! I am off dieting until Saturday night, then back on until the Olympia, as I will be scantily clad at the Prolab booth!
TRAPS AND DELTS
Plate Shrugs
Seated DB Press superset
Seated DB Laterals
Single Cable Laterals
Face Pulls
BB Shrugs

I was shoulder pressing 40s and shrugging 135 fairly easily, so I’m hoping to catch some nice growth off this rebound. Yes, I said growth, so that means I have made my decision. I want to progress, not regress!
