I think I’m going to add SAMe to my supplements for mood, since it’s helped me during prep before and I’m getting a bit edgy. I’m lacking patience with my physique, though I’m steadily losing every week and am on schedule. I just was to be ripped now, lol.
I got great news from one of my best friends that she is pregnant. Even better, she’s due in February which is convenient for me. I’ll have plenty of time to spoil him/her.

I’m a dope and messed up my split.  So, instead of back and delts today, it was chest and traps. Back and delts will be hit on Thursday after taking tomorrow off. It is such a good time hitting traps again, after nearly two years off from training them directly. I am much more comfortable with the ROM on DB presses, and probably won’t be doing any more BB for a while.

The highlight of today’s trip to NYSC were the three guys using the Stairmasters next to my Stepmill. I was privy to some of the most chauvinistic conversation I’d heard in a while. Here we have three very unimpressive men, with bodies that are certainly nothing even remotely resembling athletic, complaining about how women have gotten fat because they are out there competing with men for jobs and now have no time to look good, as they are working instead of working out. Why, oh why, did I forget to charge my mp3 player?

The new 2 piece has been purchased! It is hard for me to spend so much money one one thing. I had to chill out for a bit on the couch and tell myself that I could afford this and everything would be alright. There are some things about prep that do make me panic and this is one of them. The other is a food thing. I don’t keep much food in my house when I’m dieting to avoid temptation, but not having food in the house freaks me out a lot.

After my cheat meal I tightened up like crazy. I got a sick ab vein and was so excited to see my bicep split showing at 10 weeks out that I texted Matt. Now my belly looks like a distended Somalian, though.

Good workout, once I got one of the trainers to turn off the golden oldies they were blasting at the gym. That crap was drowning out my Chamillionaire and we can’t have that!! I didn’t get to do a whole lot of cardio since I was trying to keep up with the Jr Nats pre-judging and I had to speed to get to my nephew’s little league game after lifting. By 1 and 1/2 rep squats, I mean going ATG, up to about an inch above parallel, back ATG, then up as one completed rep. Fun!!

I just couldn’t bear to do too much cardio inside when it was so nice out, so after a few turns on the ol’ hamster wheel I took my walk outdoors. Nothing too exciting today. Abs are strong, I suppose, but I still can’t feel the flexing of them properly. It just doesn’t click. They look good when I laugh!
