Easy workout. I promised to chill on delts a bit, so I just cruised today. Energy is good despite having a crazy night last night and it’s finally starting to warm up a little again. I still don’t like posing practice in heels. Colette does tempt me when she brings up switching to LW FBB.

I am on a mission to find a buffet in NY that is not Chinese food for my cheat this week. Why is this so difficult?
I am also puzzled as to why the world wants to rush so much. When I was at Hallmard buying a card the other day, I was irritated to see Halloween candy on display already, but that paled in comparison to today. Today, dozens of Santa’s decended on midtown Manhattan, handing out flyers for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Not only is it not really spectacular, but it’s August. Give me a break.

The weights for this workout may not look like much, but the form was immaculate. On the Presses, my knees came to my chest and there was no lockout. On the Curls, I paused for two seconds at the top of the contraction and used 5 second negatives. The Good Mornings were done with my feet together, slowly and deliberately, with a full stretch and a flat back.

I felt a little crappy today, and a major contributor was probably the weather. It was rainy and COLD. We didn’t even hit 70 and I wore a sweatshirt on my walk to the gym for the first time in ages. Once I was on my way I felt pretty damn good, but as soon as I left I was a little off again. No comprende. Lifts were damn good, though.

I won’t let him try to clean up because I just have to do it myself anyway. I was annoyed to come home to no Dan, but a sink full of dishes.

Random thoughts:
After my oh-so-filling meal of cashews while standing on the church steps waiting for the exit of my newly-married cousin Gerard, I was very ready to get my grub on at the reception. It was really beautiful and I’m glad Danny decided to make this his cheat (though maybe his last) so that we could let loose and have fun together. The food was really excellent, though I must say the cocktail hour (dubbed Meal 4, though there really was no interruption) had better fare than the dinner (5).
Of course it wouldn’t be my family without some drama, but Danny put up with it pretty well and was patient enough to listen to my great uncle’s WWII stories on the drive home as well.

We have made it to the 10 week point. Pics were taken to send to the suitmaker - http://www.lidiaconti-bodywear.com/ and I’ll probably post them when I get home.
My stomach felt a little off during this workout and my head didn’t get in it until near the end. Eh.
We did get a new Strive leg ext and prone curl. Each of the five sets of single ext’s were done with a different tension placament. Stride is interesting.
