8/29 - uh oh

What a crap day. It was a miserable day at work that I thought would never end. I finally made it to the gym, and everything was going smothly until SLDL time. Then something just went wrong on the outside of my left hammy. I’ve stretched it and rubbed some Sore No More on it, but we’ll see how it feels in the morning. Now is not a good time for an injury, not that there ever is a ‘good’ time.

Ab sets were done without rest.

Sunday Early Training

I still feel a bit large from last night’s cheat. It’s all good, though. I don’t have far to go and I have 9 weeks to do it. It’s very odd for me to be so relaxed about prep this time around. I was a big stressball last time.

Everyone wanted to talk at the gym today for some reason. I was alright with it and more social than usual since it was a Sunday afternoon, but they’d better not get used to it.

I weighed only 109 upon waking, sheesh. I weight 115 when I got home from my cheat!!! My stomach was aching. I didn’t finish my cheesecake.

I have a very attractive scrape on my knee from a little stumble during my walking lunges. I look like a six year old.

There was this sweet old man at the my second VS demo who told me he’d never actually seen a woman who looked like me, only in magazines. :)

Saturday Early Workout

Officially 9 weeks. :)

This was a superfast workout, followed by a superfast shower. I had 2 demos to work 10-1 and 2-5. It’s astounding how long it takes to drive such a short distance even on the weekends in BQE/city traffic. I didn’t get any cardio in, but I did stand for 6 hours.

Despite my rush, the focus was on form > weight again. I was in my own world when I put the pin in the leg ext. I put it to 70 and it wasn’t until my 3rd set that I realized there were 3 5lb weights on the slide. ;) Oops!

Off day, and off work early! I got some chicken at $1.99/lb which is always nice. A new CVS opened in the neighborhood. I could spend a lot of money there if I had any. I tanned and got a nice nap in between meals 3 and 4.
