Sunday’s Hamstring Training

After a long Saturday night at the Jan Tana/Kamail show and the seemingly endless drive home from Tarrytown (why they picked this as a venue is beyond me) I got up bright and early to beat up some hams.

Smith Squat
feet 12″ in front of bar, toes on 5lb plates, push from the heels
smith +70×12, +70×12, +80×10

Good Mornings
45×15, 65×12, 75×10

Prone Curl
70×7, 70×7, 70×6 DROP 50×6 DROP 30×8

Obliques on Hyper
15+15, 15+15

20 Minutes Precor

I learned that you do NOT need a lot of weight to stimulate the muscle on Good Mornings.  Although it is the same movement as SLDL’s, basically, the weight distribution makes this a whole different animal.
