5/31 - Protien cookie dough and an ok workout

Today’s breakfast was random.  I had the odd urge to mic oat flout, liquid egg whites and Cinnamon Protein Component in a bowl… and it was amazing!!  I thought I was eating cookie dough, no joke, and the macros were good, too!  I am going to experiment mixing it in some no-sugar-added frozen yogurt or ice milk.  Healthy cookie dough ice cream for the summer?  I will figure this one out.

My workout was just ok.  The lifts were strong and my body is responding quite well, but chect and triceps day just isn’t all that interesting to me in comparison to the others.

After I got done with my Prolab demo at NYSC today, I swung by my two favorite local supplement shops, NutriSport and Eva’s.  After my turkey and veggies at Eva’s, I was bullshitting and discussing androgen receptors (yes, I’m just as much of a nerd in real life as I am on the forum), when lo and behold, in strolls Victor.  He was quite animated and insisted on calling me “Miss Adams”.  :)   His cell phone was going off a lot, and I overheard on one of the calls he took, “Yeah, I’ll call Desmond Miller and have him get back to you within the hour.”  It was surreal.  I look forward to seeing him again this weekend since we will both be attending the Bev (NPC Atlantic States).  For more info on Victor, check this link  http://contest.bodybuilding.com/contestantbio.php?id=3 or his website http://ifbbprovictormartinez.com/index.html

5/29 - Quads a day early, and some great baseball

Finally, it’s a pleasure to be a Met fan.  Twelve innings of great baseball against San Francisco, complete with two balks and a game ending Delgado homer.  Oh, and the Yankees lost again, with Pettite allowing a BlueJay steal home.  The baseball atmosphere in New York is fun again.

I trained quads today despite it being my usual off day because I have a demo to work for Prolab after work tomorrow evening.  At demos I visit supplement stores and gyms where I explain and sample the Prolab product line for interested shoppers and fitness club members.  For updates on Prolab demos, add Prolab to your Myspace http://www.myspace.com/prolabnutrition and check out this thread on the Forum http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2538361

5/28 - Shin vascularity on Delt day??

I didn’t mention the shin vascularity when I noticed it for the first time yesterday, as I figured it was an anomaly and it was Hams day, so not terribly farfetched.  But it was there again today, despite the fact that it was delt day, qnd my bf% is clearly up.  I am truly baffled as to why despite my diminishing leanness I am displaying veins never before seen.

35s on my DB presses at 10 reps means a jump to 40s for me typically (I’m shooting for 6-8 rep range for most upper body movments), but it was not meant to be.  I had a hellish time trying to wrangle the 40s into place and now something feels a bit tender on the left side of my back.  I’m honestly a little concerned.

People are definitely noticing that I’m growing.  I am asked a ton of questions in the gym lately, and some dude on the train was asking me my lifting stats, lol.  Although all of the weight I’m putting on isn’t quality, I did get my breasts back with the added bodyfat and there’s nothing wrong with that.
