It’s a beautiful, sunny day in New York and I walked to the gym.  The traffic was ridiculous and I laughed inside at all of the lazy people sitting in their cars since I was moving faster than they were.  On such a nice day they should have been walking, too!

Another one bites the dust

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

The time has come for me to resign my post as a ThermoLife rep. I am leaving TL and Ron Kramer under the best of terms; there is absolutely no ill will nor should there ever be. I have the utmost respect for Ron and it has been a pleasure to work with him and learn about products and the industry. TL is a great company and the inclusion of their products has definitely aided me in achieving my goals this year. E-bol, Dicana, Stizm and Zappetite are definitely products I recommend, as well as Liver Longer for all you crazy PH loving kids. ;)

Before the rumor mill starts, the answer is no. No, I have not signed with another company at this point and I’d appreciate if everyone could refrain from trying to establish some conspiracy that simply doesn’t exist. I am stepping on stage in three weeks and I can do without some manufactured online drama.

Best of luck to ThermoLife in the future. I know there are some new and novel products on the horizon for them. See you in the ThermoChat!

All this salt and water is driving me mad!  I’m still steady at two gallons a day and I’m salting every meal except my oats, pretty much.  When this show is over the only salt I’m having for a month will be in peanut butter!!!

It took forever to get to the gym since I can’t train on a full stomach and on high carb days it takes a while to digest all that damn food.  It’s funny to think that those meals are big, though, as they are still half the size of my high carb bulking meals!  I felt great at the gym, though.  Strength and endurance are still excellent.

3/22/07, arms/calves/cardio

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

I was in somewhat of a daze all day.  I had a killer migraine last night, and when I finally got to sleep the garbage trucks woke me at 1:15am.  Since when does the trash get picked up at that hour??  Anyway, I did a lot of pacing in the dark with a bag of frozen veggies on my head.  It was not cute.

Instead of training calves after my delt workout, I did 20 bw reps between each set.  At 9 supersets, that’s 180 calve raises.

3/21/07, high carb

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

In case you are wondering about some of the random proetien powders I’ve used in my oats some days, I’ve been trying to use up all of the samples I got from the Arnold Expo.  Single serving samples are a good way to gauge flavor before making a commitment to a 2 or 5 lb tub for purchase.  Some of the samples were hits, and some misses.

Meal 1

  • tilapia
  • avocado
  • Prolab Carb Component

cal - 314 pro - 27 car - 26 fat - 11 fib - 4

Meal 2

  • Twinlab Whey Protein Fuel - Strawberry

cal - 440 pro - 35 car - 57 fat - 8 fib - 8

Meal 3

  • chicken breast
  • sweet potato
  • celery

cal - 318 pro - 30 car - 45 fat - 2 fib - 7

Meal 4

  • chicken
  • sweet potato

cal - 306 pro - 30 car - 32 fat - 2 fib - 6

Meal 5

  • egg whites
  • spinach

cal - 126 pro - 24 car - 5 fat - 0 fib - 1

Totals:
