			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi - I thought I&#8217;d better write a quick post since I&#8217;ve been MIA for a little while&#8230;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been working 2 days a week in our Houston office, and it&#8217;s sapping me.  Well, the drive is.  90 miles one way  <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />   I&#8217;m pretty much ready for bed by 8 or 8:30 on those nights!  But the good part about it is that I am taking my own food, drinking plenty of water, and not cheating while I&#8217;m there!!</p>
<p>My charlie horse&#8230; I may have been mistaken about that, since all I&#8217;ve read says they are in your quads - this is in my calf.  Well, it&#8217;s been a week and two days, and although I can walk (but stiff-legged in my bare feet), blood has pooled around my ankle and I have swelling on my shin, my lower leg, my ankle, and now my foot.  So I went to the doctor today.</p>
<p>She took an X-ray to make sure I didn&#8217;t have any cracks, and she poked and prodded as doctors do.  Good news - I&#8217;m going to live  lol, and I won&#8217;t lose my leg.  HAHA.  She said it looks like a big muscle tear in my gastro&#8211; something (my calf) and probably I tore a blood vessel too, and the cramp created a pocket where all the blood stayed.  As my muscle is relaxing, the blood is coming out, hence the swelling and totally ugly and scary looking ankle.  She said as long as I keep getting better, I shouldn&#8217;t worry about anything.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t done any leg exercises, although I feel like I WANT to, and she said go ahead, if I have swelling use ice, and if I feel worse, stop.</p>
<p>California is September 10 - next week!!!  I am VERY excited!  I feel good about the way I fit in my clothes, so I&#8217;m not going to worry about THAT.  We are going to a wild animal park somewhere, probably on Saturday, and that will involve lots of walking.  But I&#8217;ve also been warned about all the restaurants we will be visiting, too  <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' />    Lets hope I still fit good in my clothes when I come home!!  haha!</p>
<p>I plan on trying the &#8216;baby got back&#8217; contest when I come home, if it&#8217;s going to go round two.  I&#8217;m looking forward to my trip, and also progressing to the next level of my workouts!!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll see if I can post pictures when I get back - have to get them &quot;approved&quot; first, though.  <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' />   I&#8217;ll probably write more before I leave, but just in case, now you all know what&#8217;s going on!!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, this feels like the week that wasn&#8217;t.  I had to work in Houston all week, and that is a 90 mile one way trip for me.  I had to come home each night because of family things, so I was pretty beat each evening when I got home.  I got up Monday and did my workout, and that was the last one I did  <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I did however, take my food, snacks and a big cup for water, and NO money so I couldn&#8217;t cheat!!  I did really well.  My weight has stayed the same.</p>
<p>I think I&#8217;m going to trim the weight days down and vamp the cardio up for this week, just to see what happens.  <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' />   I only have to go to Houston now 2 days a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, so I shouldn&#8217;t be so exhausted.</p>
<p>My poor horsie thought I abandoned her - I didn&#8217;t get to work with her all week, either.  Finally Thursday I spent some &quot;quality time&quot; with her and gave her a good grooming.  She really seemed to enjoy that.  Poor baby!!  Friday I hung out a little bit too.  And Saturday morning.  I didn&#8217;t ask too much from her, it was kinda hot, but she always likes the attention.  And the snacks. haha  <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, Dave has put more pressure on me for our trip to CA.  He wants to stay on base so it doesn&#8217;t cost so much, and he was asking what he needed to do to get me the &quot;A-OK&quot; to stay with him.  He was emailing one of his Air Force buds, and mentioned he was bringing a &quot;young, hot lady&quot; with him&#8230;  (Dave is only 2 years older than I am, and I do not think I am &quot;hot&quot;, but anyway&#8230; ).  So now I have even MORE pressure to look as good as I possibly can!!!  But its good for me, right?!!!   LOL!  This trip is gonna be so much fun!!  Only 2 weeks and 5 more days&#8230;

<p><font size="3"><font color="#000000">Saturday rest day diet eh&#8230; water poor.&nbsp; Ate some raspberry dark chocolate Hershey&#8217;s kisses.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="3"><font color="#000000">I have no idea what my weight was this morning !&nbsp; I forgot to weigh myself!!&nbsp; I figure it is around 159.xx&nbsp; Every day this week I had to fight with myself to get up.&nbsp; But I did it.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="3"><font color="#000000">Strength training:&nbsp; 4 days out of 6 (but I didn&#8217;t &#8220;miss&#8221; any workouts, got them in just not in my scheduled time)<br />
Cardio:&nbsp; 3 days<br />
Ate clean:&nbsp; 6 days out of 7, had 2 small cheat meals during the week, plus the candy on Saturday.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="3"><font color="#000000">I feel so good!&nbsp; Working out every day makes me feel great.&nbsp; My clothes are fitting me so much better, and I feel good about the way I look, even if it&#8217;s not where I eventually want to be.&nbsp; I went school clothes shopping with Erin on Saturday and actually enjoyed trying on some things - can&#8217;t tell you the last time that happened.&nbsp; I even bought some skimpy sexy shorts!!&nbsp; I&#8217;ll only wear them to bed, but I feel comfortable wearing them, and the only reason I bought them was to turn Dave on, and it&#8217;s working&nbsp; <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> &nbsp;&nbsp; Even if I don&#8217;t lose much weight, I feel really good about how I look.&nbsp; And just because it&#8217;s only 3 weeks and 3 days till we go to CA, I&#8217;m not stressing about anything, because I feel absolutely wonderful.</font></font>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night I got the biggest rush!!!  I took a shower before bedtime, and thought &quot;Hmmm&#8230; I haven&#8217;t tried on those short overalls in awhile&#8230; &quot;  Dave bought these short overalls for me last summer.  He says those with no top on under them are just soooo sexy&#8230; and I like overalls anyway, and if it turns him on, well&#8230;  ANYWAY, they are a large, and they were just a little too snug.  And when I saw how much he paid for them, I didn&#8217;t want to keep them.  But he said can you get down to fit into them? I said yes.  So he says keep them, I was going for a certain look, and besides, I never spend alot of money on you.  So I&#8217;ve had them hanging out in my room for a year now, as a reminder.</p>
<p>SO ANYWAY!  I tried them on last night, walked out to the living room where he was watching the Olympics, and said &quot;How do they look?&quot;  He gets this HUGE grin on his adorable face and says &quot;OH YEAH!!!&quot;  I laughed and said &quot;So they look better than they did before?&quot;  He says &quot;OH, THEY LOOK <strong>ALOT</strong> BETTER!!!&quot;  and then he grabs me and pulls me down on the couch with him!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The last few days have been VERY busy - Jam Packed!  Sunday I think I was home for a total of 1 hour&#8230; anyway, I ran out of egg beaters yesterday, and I knew I had to get to the store, but I forgot that I was out of the eggs.  I had my list, but I decided to postpone the trip until today.</p>
<p>Then this morning I go to make my breakfast and&#8230;  ack! no eggbeaters!  So I had a can of salmon on a whole wheat tortilla.  I know lots of you eat fish for breakfast, but I never have.  It was kinda funny to me!  <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' />  lol.</p>
