Alright, besides the CW Benefits, the other health benefits are definitely showing themselves - I checked my BP this afternoon at Wal-Mart.  116/58, pulse 79.   WOO-HOO!  :D    And I feel pretty pumped, energy-wise, today, so I’m sure I’ll get my workout in tonite.  And hopefully I will get up in the morning (before I drive to Houston YUK) and get another one in.

The only good thing about going to  Houston is having the people who haven’t seen me since November ask me "did you lose weight since we saw you last??" 

Yee Haw.  :)

Well, this feels like the week that wasn’t.  I had to work in Houston all week, and that is a 90 mile one way trip for me.  I had to come home each night because of family things, so I was pretty beat each evening when I got home.  I got up Monday and did my workout, and that was the last one I did  :(

I did however, take my food, snacks and a big cup for water, and NO money so I couldn’t cheat!!  I did really well.  My weight has stayed the same.

I think I’m going to trim the weight days down and vamp the cardio up for this week, just to see what happens.  ;)   I only have to go to Houston now 2 days a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, so I shouldn’t be so exhausted.

My poor horsie thought I abandoned her - I didn’t get to work with her all week, either.  Finally Thursday I spent some "quality time" with her and gave her a good grooming.  She really seemed to enjoy that.  Poor baby!!  Friday I hung out a little bit too.  And Saturday morning.  I didn’t ask too much from her, it was kinda hot, but she always likes the attention.  And the snacks. haha  :)

More California Pressure!

Well, Dave has put more pressure on me for our trip to CA.  He wants to stay on base so it doesn’t cost so much, and he was asking what he needed to do to get me the "A-OK" to stay with him.  He was emailing one of his Air Force buds, and mentioned he was bringing a "young, hot lady" with him…  (Dave is only 2 years older than I am, and I do not think I am "hot", but anyway… ).  So now I have even MORE pressure to look as good as I possibly can!!!  But its good for me, right?!!!   LOL!  This trip is gonna be so much fun!!  Only 2 weeks and 5 more days…

Aug 10 - Aug 16

Sunday  cardio was working Cricket in the round pen.  Diet ok, had a bison bac/chbgr at Ruby Tuesdays.

Monday  Gazelle 20 mins LBS 8 PM.  Diet excellent

Tuesday  (my weight was 157.4 !  not sure if that was correct though). Arms workout 5:30 AM  Diet excellent.  Had some yogurt cranberries.  LBS Gazelle 20 mins at 8:30 PM

Wednesday Legs workout 5:30 AM diet ok, water ok, Los Cucos for dinner.

Thursday  Absculpt at 5:30 AM  LBS Gazelle 20 mins 5:30 PM diet good, water good. “CW Moment”

Friday Arms and Chest/Shoulders workout 5:00 AM  Upped reps and weight on a few exercises. Diet excellent, water ok

Saturday rest day diet eh… water poor.  Ate some raspberry dark chocolate Hershey’s kisses.

I have no idea what my weight was this morning !  I forgot to weigh myself!!  I figure it is around 159.xx  Every day this week I had to fight with myself to get up.  But I did it.

Strength training:  4 days out of 6 (but I didn’t “miss” any workouts, got them in just not in my scheduled time)
Cardio:  3 days
Ate clean:  6 days out of 7, had 2 small cheat meals during the week, plus the candy on Saturday.

I feel so good!  Working out every day makes me feel great.  My clothes are fitting me so much better, and I feel good about the way I look, even if it’s not where I eventually want to be.  I went school clothes shopping with Erin on Saturday and actually enjoyed trying on some things - can’t tell you the last time that happened.  I even bought some skimpy sexy shorts!!  I’ll only wear them to bed, but I feel comfortable wearing them, and the only reason I bought them was to turn Dave on, and it’s working  ;)    Even if I don’t lose much weight, I feel really good about how I look.  And just because it’s only 3 weeks and 3 days till we go to CA, I’m not stressing about anything, because I feel absolutely wonderful.

Last night I got the biggest rush!!!  I took a shower before bedtime, and thought "Hmmm… I haven’t tried on those short overalls in awhile… "  Dave bought these short overalls for me last summer.  He says those with no top on under them are just soooo sexy… and I like overalls anyway, and if it turns him on, well…  ANYWAY, they are a large, and they were just a little too snug.  And when I saw how much he paid for them, I didn’t want to keep them.  But he said can you get down to fit into them? I said yes.  So he says keep them, I was going for a certain look, and besides, I never spend alot of money on you.  So I’ve had them hanging out in my room for a year now, as a reminder.

SO ANYWAY!  I tried them on last night, walked out to the living room where he was watching the Olympics, and said "How do they look?"  He gets this HUGE grin on his adorable face and says "OH YEAH!!!"  I laughed and said "So they look better than they did before?"  He says "OH, THEY LOOK ALOT BETTER!!!"  and then he grabs me and pulls me down on the couch with him!!

YAY!!!!!   ;)   LOL!!!!

Small cheat meal

Well, last night I had a small cheat meal.  I think it was small.  We went out for Tex Mex and I had chicken veggie quesadillas, made with chicken breast and lite cheese (so they say) on whole wheat tortillas.  The cheat part was the chips and salsa  ;)   I love chips and salsa…

Guess I need to drink extra water today!!

The last few days have been VERY busy - Jam Packed!  Sunday I think I was home for a total of 1 hour… anyway, I ran out of egg beaters yesterday, and I knew I had to get to the store, but I forgot that I was out of the eggs.  I had my list, but I decided to postpone the trip until today.

Then this morning I go to make my breakfast and…  ack! no eggbeaters!  So I had a can of salmon on a whole wheat tortilla.  I know lots of you eat fish for breakfast, but I never have.  It was kinda funny to me!  :D  lol.

that was it, just thought it was a funny breakfast  :D

August 3 – August 9 2008

 

Sunday – diet excellent (and on a weekend too!! WOW) water intake OK, got in my bowflex workout late morning.  15 mins Gazelle.

 

Monday – diet excellent, water intake OK, bowflex workout 5 am (see blog about fighting myself to get UP), no cardio

 

Tuesday – not feeling too great.  Didn’t want to eat, made myself eat anyway.  Didn’t workout.  Having stomach cramps  :(

 

Wednesday – ACK!  SICK!!  Stayed home from work.  Tried to eat smart the little bit of food that I actually ate.  Didn’t take any meds so I wouldn’t crash.   No workouts!

 

Thursday – feeling 95% better!!! Diet excellent, water excellent, did legs workout in the morning, then arms workout and 30 mins Gazelle in the evening.

 

Friday – diet excellent, water intake OK, my Quads are KILLING ME!! YEAH!! Got in my bowflex workout in the evening, no cardio.  Decided I need to do 30 mins on the Gazelle instead of 15, and I can’t do it the day after leg workouts!!!! OWWW!

 

Saturday – diet good, water intake Good! No strength workout, got my cardio outside in the heat and humidity running around with my horse.  20 mins of constant movement.  From me!!

 

Strength training workouts:   5 out of 6 possible
Cardio :   3 out of 6 possible, but I did do more in one session than usual.

 

Days eating clean:  I’m gonna say 7 out of 7!!  Even though I didn’t eat much the day I was sick, I still ate healthy.

 

Beginning weight:  161.0

Ending weight:    159.0

Difference:      - 2lbs  YAY!

 

I feel really good I ate well all week!!  And I only missed one workout, and that was because I was sick.  I tried to double up for Tues and Wed, but I just ran out of week.

 

I feel stronger that I can stick to the plan, and my pants are fitting me better – yeah!!
