Ended up being a pretty good day. I went home at lunch time and did 15 mins on the Gazelle. BOY, was I ready for lunch!! I had eggwhites about 45 mins before, and I know they sustained me, but as soon as I stopped "Gazelling" I was starving.
My cals for the day: 1745, 174g prot (40%) 198g carb (45%) 30g fat (15%) Not bad!! And I was ok after my lunch digested - no cravings, no starvings.
I got in my absculpt workout too before I went to bed (waaay tooo late, hit the pillow at midnite!) Slept good til 6:30. Feeling ok today, have errands to run so won’t be Gazelling for lunch, but I’ll get something in before bedtime.

Not too bad of a day, considering it was "Sad Wednesday" (when Dave goes back to work). My food was good - 1615 cals, 180g prot (45%) 153g carb (40%) 31g fat (15%) I was fighting off cravings and munchies bigtime last night! I wasn’t hungry, just wanted to crunch. So I had 2 sugar free popsicles. Not at one time, I spaced ‘em out. A little… haha. That helped.
Then I had some computer things I needed to do. Didn’t get to workout or play with my horse. And I went to bed late for me (11 pm). I slept very well, though! But didn’t get up this morning to workout. (Sometimes I just disgust myself). So I’m going home at lunchtime to get something in. Not sure yet what: I missed my absculpt and my weights yesterday, but to do them at lunch would be too much time. I can’t do 30 mins of cardio because that makes me late to get back to work. So my options are 15 mins cardio, or my absculpt. Then I can do whatever I didn’t do at lunch, when I get home.
Oh, my weight this morning was .2 lbs less. So basically, THE SAME. But then, after I took my shower and dried my hair, I got on the scale again, just for the heck of it. I haven’t eaten yet, either. The scale read 1 1/2 lbs less… ??? I mean, hey, that’s great it was LOWER, but what the heck? Ok, more reason NOT to trust my scale… I have til Sunday AM anyway for my goal… but that was just WEIRD.

Started out great - got up and did my cardio, 30 mins on the Gazelle. Ate good, ran around with Dave in the morning (had off a day of work). Got to lunch, ate light - was still pretty hungry an hour later! Had to run my daughter to the doctor (no emergency), it’s 45 mins away, ate my protein bar on the way home. Dave discovered BBQ plates for a fundraiser, so we got them for dinner. *sigh* So I didn’t eat clean today. I don’t even know what I ended up with. But I tried to drink extra water. Weighed the same this morning (Wed). Today will be better with my food.
So, so far for the week I do have 2 workouts out of 3 days in.

Not sure how it happened, but I ate too much yesterday… I didn’t eat bad stuff, but after my afternoon snack, I hate almost 300 cals left to eat, and then when I figured my dinner I was over! I was kinda hungry in the afternoon, and I had a half a peanut butter sandwich, maybe that and something else… anyway, my ratios were ok, not great, but at least my carbs and protein were even! And this morning I didn’t weigh any more than I did yesterday.
I got in my workout last night, too. And I got a good night’s sleep!! woo-hoo! haha. So, so far eating clean CHECK 1 workout in CHECK. On track for the week.

Well, had a decent weekend. Didn’t get to workout AT ALL - Saturday the time just was GONE and Sunday it was just too dang hot! And then in the evening when it’s cooler I had too much driving to do… pooh.
Anyway, no damage was done. I did discover something though. I am having so much trouble with short term goals, even the 6 weeks ones. So I decided to break it up even smaller. Weekly goals.
Sunday morning I recorded my weight, and I wrote down this for my weekly goal: I will eat clean all week. I will workout AT LEAST four days. I will lose at least 2 lbs. There. If I can do that, I am moving forward. If I can do that for 3 weeks, I will have made significant progress. I am going to Alicia’s competition (windsrprk) on July 12, and I haven’t seen her in 2 years. I would like to have her notice a change, even in her competition distracted state lol. Yeah, I’ve lost 14 lbs since then, but I want more…
I think breaking this up into weeks will be a good thing for me. Then by September 1st, I will have made many weeks progress, and I will be ready for my trip to CA.
Ok, so number one challenge, eating clean. Not too bad so far. I even resisted Dairy Queen/Blizzards yesterday… I was alone, no one would have known, but the thought of what that would do to my week kept me honest.
And then today. What part of "No, thank you" don’t people understand??? I had a lengthy conversation on Friday with "J" about health, health problems (his and mine), eating right, doctors, exercise, etc., and yet today, at lunchtime he asked me if he could get me some lunch. He was going out to get the guys something anyway, since they were working through lunch, and he was buying. I said no, thank you, I have my lunch with me. No hamburgers? No, thank you. No what-a-chicken? No, thank you. They have salads, too… No, thank you. BBQ? NO!!!! NO!!! NO!!!! GEE WHIZ!!!!!! I HAVE MY LUNCH HERE, I’LL BE FINE!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!! LOL.

I was doing ok, a little higher on the fat today, (good kind - nuts etc), and I got my 30 mins of cardio from the Gazelle. Then for dinner we had tamales. LOL Not exactly what I had planned, and not really anywhere near good for me, but I said oh what the heck, let it be a cheat meal. I didn’t pig out, actually I didn’t feel very hungry. I ate a lot of veggies with it. And drank lots of water yesterday. I felt hungry by bedtime, but I didn’t eat anything (although there were things calling to me!!!)

This is pretty cool - I’ve eaten clean 7 days in a row, I’ve INCREASED my calories, but have been making a conscious effort to get enough protein in. And I’ve not worked out the past 3 days, and yet - I still am losing weight!! .2, .4 lbs at a time, not gobs and gobs, mind you, but more proof to myself how important it is to not just eat better, but eat RIGHT.
I’ve asked my boss if I could take a 1/2 hour lunch and leave work 1/2 hour earlier for awhile since we aren’t busy. He said yes. WHEW! That makes me feel SO GOOD, I can get my cardio in when I get home without putting dinner off ! lol

WHAT???? NO OATMEAL???????? AAAAAACCCCKKKK!!!
I couldn’t believe it, there was 1/4 cup of dry oats in the container. Well, I ate ‘em anyway, cuz I love oatmeal… and then I had 2 graham cracker sheets to make up the difference…
Well today was great food wise. And guess what! I realized today made SEVEN whole days in a ROW!!! i’ve eaten clean!! YEAH!! A new first for me! And tonite I even resisted trail mix…
Dave comes home Wednesdays, and he’s usually sick of eating his own cooking for a week so we almost always go out on Wednesday nites for dinner. I hinted at Chili’s, and he said yes, so I scoured their menu all afternoon, and made the choice to get the Guiltless Grill Chicken Platter. I’ve had the salmon many times, so I wanted something different. MMMMMM…
ok, no workout today, but my food was pretty good. I figured since the last few days were lower carb days, tonite’s HIGH carb dinner would be alright. Cals 1649, prot 125 (30%) carb 224 (55%) fat 29 (15%) And no sugar crashes today!! YAY!
Tomorrow Iwill definitely have to get my workout in.

Had a sugar crash this morning. Took me completely off guard. I was about 20 mins late for my morning snack, but jeesh… it was a big crash, too. I got shaky, sweaty, blurry vision… ACK. Then I got chills cuz I had been sweaty. GEE WHIZ.
But then, an hour and 1/2 later, about 5 mins before I was going to get my lunch together, I started getting hot, like I was starting another crash! ARGH. But I staved it off, I think. The rest of the afternoon I kind of had a headache. Could have been the crash, but it could have been sinuses, too. Felt that weird weak feeling in my legs, too. I know that was from the crash.
So I got home and ate my dinner. My menu for the day was perfect - 1812 cals, 216g prot (50%) 156g carb (35%) 36g fat (15%). But I was still feeling very weak. So I ate a small peach. Then I layed down on my bed and fell asleep! I woke up an hour later, my head was pounding, and I still felt not right. I had a few pieces of taffy, and took an advil and a sudafed. I drank some more water and made myself go out the door. I knew after I was out with Cricket I would feel ok. I was right
I didn’t get my cardio in, I was just too weak and felt icky. I wanted to eat my dinner when I got home. So Wednesday I’m not sure yet what my workout will be.

ok, I’m gonna try this again. Posting my details, that is. I have no idea if it is boring to anyone who reads it, but… I"m not gonna "predict" or "forecast" I’m just gonna post what I did/ate.
Monday: went home for lunch and did my 30 mins cardio on the Gazelle. (going home - this was an experiment). I ran over my lunch ‘hour’ by 20 mins, but no one noticed I took another shower, and my hair was still a little damp, but still, no one noticed! LOL Ate a peanut butter sandwich and had some grapes in the car back to work. My eating schedule got all messed up, and I ended up with waaay too much food to eat before I went to bed, so I left 180 cals, 36g prot and 6 carbs off for the day. Still, I ate clean. Ended up with 1544 cals; 160 g prot, 133g carbs and 44g fat.
When I got home from work, I did my circuit (which I am going to increase next workout): 15×35lbs hamstring curls, 15×15lbs dumbbell presses on bodyball, 15×10lbs dumbbell flys on bodyball, 15×15lbs dumbbell rows, 10 sec hang on the chinup bar, 1 lowering myself from the chinup bar (I can’t do a pullup yet, I climb up on the squat rack and lower myself slowly from the bar), 15×20lbs deadlift, 15×8lbs lateral raise with plie squats, 10 each sidex10lbs "W" shoulder raises while balancing on one leg, 20×10lbs hammer curls pendulem lunges, 20×15 bicep curls, 12 bench dips, 10 each side ‘warrior pose’ tricep pushes (to the back while in a lunge position), 15×10lbs behind the head tricep extensions on the bodyball, 8×8lbs lying cross-face tricep ext.
THEN: my absculpt DVD. I was pretty stinky by this time
I think I had a decent amount of water yesterday, too. Slept pretty good!!
Feel good today, good energy, a little sore on the back of my legs up to my butt, my "wings" are a little sore, and my shoulders/tris feel like they might be sore by the time I go home.
