Thursday - and another comment!

Did pretty good on my food yesterday - resisted the urge for brownies… ! My daughter had to make some for a school party and there was ONE tiny one left…  but I could have made all kinds of snacks… but I didn’t!  And for some reason I wanted a bowl of cereal.  But I didn’t get one.  I made myself STOP eating… jeesh!

Didn’t work out last night, and I wanted to get up early today so I just went into my room and watched TV until 9.  Fell right asleep, well, about 9:30 lol.  Slept all night.  Slept right thru my alarm.  Woke up at 6:45… jeesh!!!

Got another compliment today!!  WOW, two days in a row!  The "bug-man" came in today, comes every quarter.  Hasn’t seen me since Feb.  Says "Man, you are wasting away, what are you doing? On a diet or something??"   LOL  I said "working hard, cardio and weights"  He said "Really?  You are lookin good"    WOW, this will keep me going all day, and into tomorrow!! LOL

Planning on keepin it lean today…  and lots of water.   Something tonight when I get home, either my Gazelle or my ab sculpt.  Whichever one I don’t do, I’ll do in the morning tomorrow.

    You go girl!! Awesome on the resisting!! Awesome that everyone is taking notice!! YAY!! O.k…on this site you can buy protein cereal called Kay’s Natural’s….the cinnamon and apple is AMAZING and totally fits into a ‘competition’ diet! So the average weight loss diet it would work great for too!! Cereal is one of my biggest ‘comfort’ foods! SO…this was a fantastic find for me!!

    Great job on the food! After I screwed up yesterday and devoured way to many chocolate coverd peanuts, I went to bed early to avoid the late night snacking.

    Comments out of the blue like that are the best motivator!

    Congrats on resisting the brownie. I saw a commercial last night for brownie mix and I instantly started drooling. I miss my brownies!

    OMG, thank you guys for your support!!! Stormi, I will check out the cereal… yeah, I LOVE cereal too. "Cereal - it’s whats for supper" sometimes. Choc covered peanuts… can’t that be on a lean diet? good fats… hmmm. haha Erinlee - brownies… and blue bell moose tracks icecream. The ice cream is seasonal. and now is the season! I want to get some and keep it until LATER!! ARGH!! hehe!

    Honestly I don’t know how you do the mom thing and eat well. I truly admire your ability to bake and not eat. I couldn’t do it which is why as much as I love baking I don’t do it. I sure couldn’t resist brownies. Agh!!

    Really cool about the compliment. Nothing makes you feel better about yourself than a compliment. You aren’t wasting away but you do look really good Diane!

    Well…. 3 of my kids, the younger ones, don’t live with me :( When they are with me, though I have specific things for THEM so I don’t eat them! lol! It’s getting easier though. And my youngest has a sugar problem - he gets very hyper and then he has no control and is always in trouble, so we just don’t let him have sugar. And since I would feel terribly guilty if every one else had sweets but him, we all just suffer . HAHA!!
