Ok, I made it thru lunch. All you guys here are FANTASTIC!! Thanks for your support!! (GROUP HUG) LOL! Ok, this is how it went down:
I’m fussin here at my desk, grumbling about going UP on my weight, after I was so good yesterday, and sitting here craving chocolate and burgers… reading all your comments and encouragement. Someone offered me a FREE lunch of a Whataburger. Not Jack in the box, but still… I said ok. They gave me $10 to go pick up lunch. WELL. It didn’t sit well with me, so I went to the grocery store instead. (With my own money) I bought a box of boca burgers, some whole wheat buns, tomatoes, pickles, a bag of salad greens, and reduced fat jack cheese. And a bag of ranch flavored rice cakes, and a bag of chocolate flavored rice cakes . Then I went to Whataburger and got them their lunch.
OMG, I feel SO MUCH BETTER!!! Instead of blowing my day, I satisfied all my cravings for 340 calories, 26 g protein, 42 g carbs, and 9.6 g fat. I wouldn’t have been able to hold strong if it wasn’t for you guys!! THANK YOU!!!!!!! G I JOE! LOL!

Does anyone else (females! lol) have problems around that time of the month with munchies and chocolate cravings? ARGH!!! PLUS I weighed in this morning 1.6 lbs MORE than yesterday! NO FAIR! waaaaahhhh!! My clothes feel fine, I just want to EAT EAT EAT!

Here at work, in the warehouse, three men and me, there is a bikini calendar up on the wall. Now this doesn’t bother, I really don’t care. It’s bikini’s, most of the women have breast enhancements, and are bony thin. The guys don’t really stand around and gawk, or make comments, either. Occasionally, however, my boss will page thru and say "oh yeah, she’s nice" or "too thin" or something like that. Yesterday he did this. I was standing close by, and I said "I wonder if I slipped a picture of me in there, later, if you guys would even notice that it was me" And my boss says, with a skeptical sideways glance in my direction, "Oh, WE’D NOTICE"
That just made me mad.

I did mention Randy and Carlos here at work were also trying to lose weight. And I think I did mention my boss’s wife is also "doing her own thing." Well, Randy and I (v65mag) are trying to educate her on the correct way to do this, but she knows what she’s doing, and doesn’t want to hear it. So I said to Randy that’s ok, we have the knowledge. And he said "And knowledge is power - G I JOE!" then laughed. He said "remember those commercials?" So our motivational yell is G I JOE!
Well my boss’s wife, "M", went on a 5 day cleansing fast last week. She lost about 5-6 lbs. This week she said she can eat whatever she wants, as long as she controls the portion sizes. Randy and I just looked at each other, knowingly. (G I JOE!) She and my boss went out to get breakfast - sausage pigs. (I hope you all know what those are - not crescent rolls with hot dogs in them, but full blown Czech recipe pigs. I can’t even begin to guess what the fat content is!). She had the audacity to buy ME one! I did NOT eat it! Then she comes back from lunch yesterday and says she had a burger, but took the top of the bun off, and only ate half the tater tots to make it better. I’m thinkin’ why were you eating a fast food burger??? All that fasting for what?? And today, who knows what they had for breakfast, they are out to lunch at the local BBQ joint. *sigh*
That’s ok, when I get to my goal, and then Randy gets to HIS goal, and she’s still lugging around about 100 lbs of extra fat, she’ll ask us for help. Then maybe they will listen.

I was craving salmon. I told Dave I wanted to go out to eat and get salmon, and he was buying. lol He said ok, but he wanted to go to Chili’s. I wasn’t sure Chili’s had anything on their menu I could eat, but I called, and they said they had the Guiltess Grill menu. So I looked up my location online, and found a grilled salmon dinner. So Dave got to go to Chili’s.
Let me tell you, this was a GREAT meal! It definitely satisfied my craving. It came with steamed veggies (I asked for no parmesan cheese) and a small bowl of black beans. MMMMMMM. And right on the menu it had the calories, carbs and fat so I didn’t have to guess. I had to estimate the protein, that wasn’t listed, but I think I got it pretty close.
I didn’t have any chips and salsa, or any appetizer, or dessert. I did have a soda (first one in 3 days LOL). I woke up at 4 am STARVING and I weighed less than I did yesterday! WOO-HOO!!
So if you want to go out to eat, and have a Chili’s near you, this might be a good choice for you too! Oh, it was $12.29 for the dinner. *prices and menu items may vary by location* lol

I am going to make my 1st goal, I just know it!! I have just 5.8 pounds to lose in the next 15 days. I have gotten in 80 oz of water every day. I have kept my menu to under 1400 calories, with the proper balance of protein, carbs and fat, and getting the required servings per food group. I am working out my heart like you wouldn’t believe, and my quads and BUTT are ready to fall off!!
WOO-HOO!!!
Having Randy and Carlos here at work is helping me SO MUCH. We get on each other all day long: "How much water have you had?" "What number bottle is that?" "You didn’t drink any soda, did you?" And this morning, a saboteur showed up with SIX carne guisada tacos, offering them to ALL three of us - and ALL three of us said No, thank you!!
Yesterday, I even was able to resist the temptation of M&Ms. I told myself NO!! Come on! Remember what you want! Besides, you have a peanutbutter and rice cake treat waiting for you this afternoon, and it’s ON YOUR MENU. Whew, that did it!!
I feel very good. I don’t want to jinx me, either, so I’ll finish now! lol

Hi, I know, I know, WHERE HAVE I BEEN???!!! Well, I have a good excuse! I got the most excellent Christmas present: a 4-legged critter of the Equine Variety!!!

She has been taking my online time, of course, but I am still focused on my weight loss and fat burning. I have fine tuned my diet (again?!! lol) and have set my first goal for the end of January, and my total 20 lbs to be gone in 10 wks = March 18th. My co-workers Randy (v65mag) and Carlos, and my boss’s wife have all made new resolutions, and are focused on their diets and water consumption, so between the four of us, we should be able to keep each other motivated, on track, and be support to each other. It’s funny, we all have different main goals, even though we are all trying to lose weight.
SO… I will try to check in every couple of days, please feel free to comment/write to me!
