Exercise - ain’t it great
Monday, December 3rd, 2007ALRIGHT. So far so good. lol I had a good day. I was hungry, but I didn’t cheat. Actually, I’ve written out my menu for the whole week and only took food to work that was on my menu. No snack machines, etc., where I work, so that was kinda a no-brainer. lol It should only take me a few days to get back in the groove of only eating what I"m supposed to, since I’ve only been "off my feed" for a week or two.
But ain’t it great, you can measure progress on your workouts!! The first time I did my interval jogging, I only got 3 intervals in, and I couldn’t breathe. The second time I got 5 intervals in and I couldn’t breathe. Today I got all 6 intervals in, and I COULD BREATHE! yeah! And I got a really cool heart rate monitor, and I compared today with the last time, and my heart rate didn’t jump up as high as last time. Actually, it was a smaller range overall than last time. I think that’s a good sign.
So according to the HR monitor, I burned 287 calories, and my menu plan says 1495 calories, 39% protein, 43% carbs and 17% fat. Not quite what I wanted for ratios but not too bad I guess.
Oh gosh, and you know what? I think I like jogging…
