Through the Roof!

I am amazed at the energy that Amphetalean is giving me!  I have bumped up my cardio and manage to push through to the very end! 

Has anyone out there made Whey Brownies?  Hopefully, they tasted better than the ones I made because oh wow! Definitely Disgusting LOL    There are a million and one recipes on the internet so I’ll keep trying different ingredients until we get a good one!  If you have one feel free to post it here… I ( and other chocolate lovers)would appreciate it!

My Chest and Biceps this week …

Dumbbell Chest Press 25×10x3

Dumbbell Flys 15×10x3

Pushups 12×4

EZ Bar Curls 30×10x3

Hammer Curl 12×12x4

Lunges 30×12x4

Calves 10×10x10

Cardio - 1 hour hike with my son in the jogging stroller, 30 minutes on the Nautilus Sand Stepper 

Diet:

Amphetalean!

1 whole egg, 2 egg whites, 1/2 toasted whole wheat burrito w/ cinnamon

whey & oats

turkey burger & sweet potato

whey brownie - ugh

grilled chicken and mixed veggies

muscle milk

My feelings towards cardio are pure hatred lol

I officially HATE cardio!  Could it be possible that I am the only person on this website that truly dislikes sweating uncontrollably?? I do have to say though, that my new friend Amphetalean does NOT make me sweat, which I LOVE! 

Today was Lats and Triceps.  It went really well and I’m excited to bump some weights up next week.

1 arm dumbbell rows - 3 x 25lbs x 12

lateral pull down - 3 x 40lbs x 12

individual arm pull downs (twisted wrists, elbows tight) - 4 x 10lbs x 10

tricep extension - 3 x 10lbs x 10

single overhead extension - 3 x 5lbs x 12

cable push down  (elbows tight) - 4 x 20lbs x 12

 

Does anyone have any suggestions for some other Lat exercises?  I prefer free weights and not the machines for the most part so any new ideas would be greatly appreciated!

 My diet today :

meal 1 : 1 whole egg and 2 servings of egg beaters & sweet potato

meal 2 : mixed veggies & grilled chicken

meal 3 : whey, oats & almonds

meal 4 : roasted chicken, brown rice & smart balance

meal 5 : my husband made AMAZING marinated turkey burgers!!, mixed veggies &   almonds

meal 6 : muscle milk

August 30:

Didn’t get the shakes today! It’s amazing how quickly our bodies adapt.  So my legs are nice and sore from my leg workout lol  Here is an example of my leg day…

Squats - 3 sets 10 reps 60lbs

Leg Extension - 3 sets 12 reps 40 lbs

Leg Press - 4 sets 10 reps 90lbs

Straightleg Deadlifts - 3 sets 10 reps 70lb barbell

Dumbbell Deadlifts - 3 sets 10 reps 20lbs each hand

Walking Lunges w/ Dumbbell - 4 sets 12 lbs each hand 12 steps set

Calves 10×10 - 10 sets, 10 reps, 10 sec rest in btw

And my inspiration for the day was :

On The Move

August 29:

So today is the second day I have taken Amphetalean.  It’s definitely an energy booster and gets me moving FAST!  The only issue I’m having right now is for about an hour or two after my workout, my hands are pretty shaky.  On days that I don’t have to go into work it’s not a problem but the days that I do… I make sure my clients don’t get a good view of my hands!  (I’m a hairdresser and that would not be a good sign for them haha) I’m sure my body will get adjusted to the change within a couple days and all in all I’m enjoying the extra umph!

Hi! My name is Dale and I was chosen to participate in the Beast Sports 90 Day Amphetalean Challenge.  I am 5′ and 125lbs.  This contest is a first for me but I am very excited to get started!  Included in this blog will be a sample diet and my training split as well as progress pictures.

Sample Diet: 21g protein, 16g carbohydrates, 9g fat per meal

Day 1: 

Meal 1: oats w/ smart balance, whey protein shake

Meal 2: chicken, green beans

Meal 3: 1 whole egg + 2 egg whites, sweet potato

Meal 4: whey protein shake, almonds, sweet potato

Meal 5: chicken, brown rice w/ smart balance, asparagus

Meal 6: muscle milk
