After Week 2
Monday, June 29th, 2009Well its alittle more than a week since last post, but progress continues. I seem to have balanced around 185lbs. I have started running alittle bit more…going from 2 times a week to 3-4 times. Also this past week i finally decided that my dumb bells werent enough and needed something else. So i went and bought a curl-bar and 50 more lbs in plates to add the needed resistance for my gains in strength. I especially love the ability to be at home and slap some weight on the bar and do some skull crushers.
I am still doing circuit training…3 days a week. So that hasnt changed. There might be a day here and there that i will grab the bar and do some curls or shoulder presses, to help with some of the stress of the work day, but nothing that is full blown work out. I did get some pictures taken too this past saturday, and i will try to get them posted later today.
Today after work, i will be doing my circuit workout and then running.
My workout consists of Pushups, Chair Dips, Wide and close grip pull ups, Upright Rows, Military Press, Crunches, Flutter Kicks, Dumb bell curls, Barbell curl, Hammer curls, Skull Crushers, Standing Tricep Extensions, Bent over rows, and Shrugs. And then i run 1.5 to 3.5 miles.
I will normally do 3 sets of each, but i do them in cycles, never doing all 3 sets together. So i am going from one exercise straight into another after a few sec of rest. Well this is it for now…till next time.
