Does anyone else have to put up with this?
Sunday, April 22nd, 2007basically, a lot of my friends are planning to go into some sort of medical profession and of course are taking the prerequisite medical classes. in the meantime they are learning all sorts of things relating to nutrition and as a result decide to "teach" everyone who doesn’t follow that silly thing called the food pyramid. i am constantly bombarded with comments about how running a high protein diet is unhealthy and how it does "lasting damage" to the body. personally my daily protein intake is about 200-300 grams per day and is made up with chicken, tuna, eggs, fishes, and shakes. does anyone else have this problem and if so what kind of responses do you have to these people?
