pretty much what the title says. all the lifts went up, incline smith, military smith, cg smith press all went up, front pulldowns were good as well. really tried to get a good squeeze in there. deadlifts weren’t too good. really struggled with 315 and only got 7, matched the number from last week. little disappointed since i’m trying to beat my numbers each time i do a certain exercise. the junk part was that i didni’t feel too smooth while doing them, grip was a little junk. might be because i walked over 1.5 miles with grocieries in my hands yesterday, but that’s no excuse. well, time for my post workout shake (real gains, dymatize iso 1000, primaforce carb slam) and then in half an hour it will be some sirloin steaks and some white/brown rice combo. sounds pretty good. i’m excited.

not scheduled to workout today, but i missed on tuesday due to my job. did some incline db presses, machine shoulder presses, machien tricep pushdowns, chin pulldowns and one arm rows. beat my weights pretty much on everything. changed up the form and tempo on the incline db presses so that i could hit the upper chest a little better. did it A form and did a slower up and slower down tempo to get the chest really firing. went from using 80s to 65s. still got the chest good. made it easier to kick the weights up, guess that’s a positive. did well on the shoulders, tricep pushdowns, pulldowns and the one arm rows. shoudlers were a little tired from teh initial chest movement so it was kind of hard to beat last time’s weights. that’s all for now. tomorrow is a bicep and leg workout. doing some cable curls and some front squats, sldl. that’s all i can remmeber for now. time for some egg whites and some carbs.

yesterday was squats and i beat my pr so i expected to be in extreme pain today…..not too bad though when i woke up. little stiffness and tightness, but not the usual, i don’t want to move any part of my body type of pain. that’s all for now, got some good eating to do, defrosting some cheap round steak taht i found. eating and studying is what’s in store for today.

killed myself today. don’t know where i got the energy to do it. all the exercises were done rest pause style (set to failure, 15 sec rest, set to failure, 15 sec rest, set to failure, done). barbell curls 100 x 15, seated hammers 45 x 12 (ss) - biceps and forearms were shot from today’s bicep work and the rack deads the other day, seated calf raises 120 x 9 with 12 second bottoms, seated leg curl 190 x 15. squats were done with a straight set. did 325 x 8 and 240 x 20. both are more than i’ve ever moved for the respective sets. pretty happy about that. my squat has never ever been at this point before so i’m stoked about it. eating and studying for the rest of the day, yay.

went into the gym pretty pumped up to get a good workout in. did some flat db press, shoulder press, weighted dips, close grip pull down and some rack deads. all good lifts. db shoulder press sucked. wasn’t able to move too much weight on it, somewhat upset. might drop the exercise and move on to some bb or cable upright rows.
squat day is tomorrow. yay

good leg workout. was a little short on time today since i have a big test tomorrow. did some bicep curls (db) and some hammer db curls. those went well, got some good weight on them. did some stuff on the leg press and moved nice weights. 360 x 11 on leg press calf raises with 12 second bottoms. did wide leg hamstring press and got 610 x 15 (rest paused) and finished off with a 800 x 8 on leg press with a 570 x 21 leg press widowmaker. biked back from the gym which is about a mile or so away (don’t really know, just guessing). gonna be sore tomorrow. should be a good feeling though. the quads feel jacked. trying to cut a little bf off before i go back to hawaii. its a little hard since i don’t want to cut the food intake too much and start to overtrain/have the weights i’m able to move drop dramatically. that’s all for now.

did some good weights today. first workout back after a cruise. the muscles didn’t have the same type of endurance since i have been off for about 8 days to rest and recover. smith incline was good. moved the hands out a little bit on the bar so that i could hit the upper chest a little more effectively. also did some smith military presses and some smith cg bench for triceps. pushed some good weights on all of them. a little disappointed with the cg bench. i think the tris were pretty tired from the two exercises before. lowered the weight on front pulldown and tried to get a better squeeze in the back. finished off with deads, 315 x 7 and 275 x 14. the 275 x 14 was a real killer, felt like puking at about rep 7 but was able to fight through it. i’m writing this about 45 min after and only now have i began to feel a little better. next workout day is tuesday.

haven’t written in this thing for a while since i haven’t worked out in a while. currently taking a little time off to recover and give the muscles time to rest. have been hitting them pretty hard and since i’m kind of new to this whole deal i’m not aiming to push too hard and over train. will get back to playing with the metal on sunday. should be fun, got some deads, my favorite exercise.

hit the gym with a vengeance today and took out stress on the weights. beat the log book on all the lifts today. did some incline db and did a 80 x 16, pushed 225 x 13 on machine shoulder press and got 220 x 15 on machine tricep pushdown. also ran a 168 x 15 on chin pulldown. all these were rest pause sets. finished off with a straight set of 115 x 6 and 90 x 15 on db bent over rows. got a good pump in the upper body. tomorrow will be a little bit of cardio, some clean eating and that’s all.
