today’s bi and leg workout

overall a real solid workout.  got a huge pump out of the bis with some ez bar curls and some seated hammer curls.  moved some pretty solid weights overall.  did some leg press work as well and pushed 6+ on leg press hamstring and 790 on regular leg press.

the long awaited workout

took out some frustration on the weights today from all th tests and stuff that i had to do this week.  good lifts overall, got a pretty wicked pump.  highlight of the workout was 325 x 7 and 275 x 15 on rack deads.  back is a little sore and tight right now.  that’s all for now, had some good big eating today, hope it’ll help to throw some extra muscle mass on me.

yesterday’s workout

beat all my numbers yesterday.  got 50 x 24 rp on db alternating curls which is the best lift i’ve ever had for biceps.  also put down 315 x 6 for squat which is also a pr.  some other good lifts, but these were definitely the high lights.  no lifting until friday, have two tests, one today and one tomorrow.

back day

good lifts yesterday, esp on deadlifts.  got a pr with 315 x 6 and 275 x 12.  overall a real solid workout, heading back from spring break tomorrow, squat day is also tomorrow.  the end of lent will be a nice time to have a cheat day.

haven’t updated for a bit

haven’t been on here for a bit since i’ve been on spring break.  found a flex gym which is good and has allowed me to be able to keep up with the workouts.  good overall workouts, set some good pr’s for myself.  185 x 7 on front squats and 245 x 18 on sldl.  pretty solid overall, getting a little bit of flab over the break due to some good eating, mainly of mexican food.  if you live in wisconsin, go to frank’s diner in kenosha, its amazing.

did some good work on the bis today, but the focus was mainly on squats.  got 305 x 8 which was more than i thought.  was gunning for some 295 x 6-10.  pretty stoked with the results.  tomorrow is a day of rest, tuesday is upper body.

did one full rotation of my workouts so far so i returned to my first workout.  did some chest, shoulders, tris, back width and thickness.  pulled 285 x 10 today on deadlift.  that was pretty good.  each workout i’m getting past one pr or another so that’s pretty good.  gives me a sense of accomplishment.  tomorrow is a day off, big eating will occur today and tomorrow.  sunday is the day of truth, squat day, trying to hit 295 or 305, depending on how i feel.  hope that goes well.

haven’t posted here for a while.  did some legs and some bis on friday, did upper body today.  good weights on everything.  pushed a pr on leg press with 710 for 9.  did some good weights on everything else.  today was some  upper body.  did some db incline press today and got 80 x 16 on rp.  also did 105 x 10 and 80 x 15 on one arm db bent over rows.  pretty solid.  got a good pump on the back from the back thickness and the back width exercises.  overall happy with the workouts of the past two days.  tuesday is the next workout, will do some legs, front squats will probably be the focus of the workouts.  looking forward to that.
