yesterday’s upper body workout

the workout yesterday was pretty intense for the chest, shoulders and tris.  db flat press and db press for chest and shoulders respectively.  did a little bit more int he rep department because i was using dbs.  skull crushers along with some close grip pulldowns and smith rows.  pretty good workout, the back exercises didn’t put a huge amount of stress on the lower back which was good.  that’s all for now, time to do some stuff for school.  today and tomorrow are both days off, friday is back to work with bis and legs

surprising today when i woke up that my calves were more sore than the quads or hams.  didn’t expect this, especially after the heavy squats yesterday.  today is an exam and then some chem hw.  really fun stuff….not.  that’s all for now, tomorrow is an upper body day.

the workout of legs and bis

a very solid workout today.  upped the reps on biceps and the leg workout was pretty amazing.  got a pr with 285 for 10 on squats.  the calf workout was killer and they were twitching for the rest of the time after i did them.  seated leg curls were good and i was able to get more reps and weight than before.  tomorrow is a day off, have an exam.  tuesday is an on day again.  doing some upper body.  awright.

first workout coming off my cruise.  i thought i would need a little adjustment to the weights again, but it wasn’t the case today.  beat all the numbers off the last workout of the cruise and then some.  pretty good.  tomorrow is a day off, sunday is back on.

just another day

no lifting, no cardio, just studying.  two tests tomorrow, one test on thurs and then i’m free.  back on a blast on friday.  excited for that, can’t wait to hit the heavy weights again.

not too much to report.  its wet and slippery outside because of rain and snow and then freezing it all over night.  have to get some milk today and study chem since midterms/exams are coming up.  no cardio for me.  next scheduled lifting day….friday.

a late night workout…changing it up

worked out last night, not the norm for me since i’m normally a day/mid afternoon worker outer.  did a combo of  a dc cruise and a normal volume workout.  did some flat benching along with some legs.  legs were run on the dc cruise principles nad bench was done on a modified 5×5 routine.  did some of the stretches and got out.  pretty solid.  upped the bench a little.  haven’t benched for a long time because of the strain it puts on the rotator.  225 x 2.  not too bad considering that i don’t do it at all any more.

study study study. that’s the plan for today.  tomorrow will be some bis and lower body as well as a little bit of cardio afterwards.  still on a cruise set so the workouts aren’t going to pick up in intensity until friday.

did some good stuff today.  tried to bring up the lagging body parts like the shoulders and the chest.  did some incline db press, machine shoulders, machine dips, chin pulldowns and one arm rows.  straight set for 20 on all of them with stretching afterward.  nice pump overall.  20 min of cardio, burned 140 cals.
