leg day

finally feeling better and ran some legs today.  was one of the harder leg workouts i’ve had in a while.  really focused on squeezing the muscle and trying to get max contraction.  tried playing some racquetball about an hour after the workout.  went pretty well and was effective in getting the legs to loosen out.  anyone ever have this happen to them where they feel as though they can go forward and back really easily but cutting side to side is hard?

Not too sure what to do

Still feeling a little down and out.  Not sure how hard to push myself on my workout that I normally run on Tuesday.  Debating if i should hold off on it and run it on Wed instead of tues.

Shoulders and back were today.  felt a little bit weaker than yesterday.  hope that doesn’t mean that i’m getting sicker again.  didn’t put up the kinds of weights that i normally do, but still managed to get some good poundage up.  got a nice pump and left.  that’s all for now, next workout is tuesday, legs with a sprinkling of tris just to keep them pumped.

Workout for the day

Ran chest and biceps today.  i’m still a bit under the weather so i didn’t know what to expect out of my workout.  felt surprisingly strong in the beginning as i moved more weight on bench for more reps than i usually do.  wore down faster during the workout and wasn’t able to hit the biceps with as much weight as usual, put a little more emphasis on getting a full contraction of the bicep and holding it for a while.  hope this workout doesn’t get me more sick.

Currently sick and won’t be able to do any cardio or weights today.  How sad.  Guess this is God’s way of helping me lose a little bit of excess weight.

took xceed for the first time today.  it was awesome.  barbell curls went through the roof as i repped 115 for the first time in a long time.  military press and tricep presses and other tricep exercises were all up at least a few reps at higher weights then i’ve ever gone at before.

Today was arm day.  Worked bi’s, tri’s and shoulders.  put up pretty good weight and got a nice pump.  stats for the day

Dumbell press:  55×8, 55×10, 60×8, 65×7
Side laterals:  15×10, 20×10, 20×12
Rear delt machine:  160×8, 165×8, 170×8

EZ Bar Curls:  80×8, 80×9, 90×8, 100×8
Alternating Dumbell curls:  35×8, 35×8, 40×8, 40×8
Alternating hammer curls:  35×8, 40×8, 40×8

Close grip bench press:  150×8, 150×8, 150×8

Cable close grip pushdown:  108×8, 120×8, 120×8

Reverse cable pushdown:  84×8, 84×8, 96×8

Arms felt pretty solid after the workout.  Next workout is on Saturday.  Aloha.
