went to my gf’s house the other day and got to eat some amazing mexican food. went down to a flex gym and did my bicep and leg workout. overall the numbers all went up either in weight or in reps. happy about the 345 x 9 and the 265 x 20 on squat. had "squat fever" for the rest of the day, but it was worth it. that’s all for now, looking to finish the rack on one arm rows either on my wednesday workout or on the next one. pretty excited for that.

so i realize that i need to start doing a better job with updating this thing. had a good upper and lower body workout on fri/sun. pretty good pressing numbers on teh friday upper body workout with the smith incline, smith military and smith cg presses all increasing. the pulldown numbers also went up. unfortunatley, the deadlift numbers stayed the same in weight and reps. not happy about that. felt as though the hams were tired and just weren’t able to get the weight off the floor with a good drive. todays workout was solid with good bicep db curls along with some good leg presses (820 x
. switched some sldl’s into the mix to really hit the hams. that’s all for now, time for some veggies and protein and some eggs.

probaly the least intense workout that i have in my blast. nothing really crazy on tap like squats or deads or things of that nature. did some pretty good weight with the incline db pressing and got a 65 x 13, 8, 4 rp’d. did some machine shoulder presses and tricep pushdowns. chin pulldowns were good and so was the one arm db rows. got 115 x 8. when i hit a 120 x 10 then its time to change that exercise up because i would have maxed out the weight that my gym has for dbs. pretty exciting, never thought that i would get to this point, or at least not this fast. that’s all for now. had some steak and rice for a post workout meal (after the waxy maize/whey isolate shake).

haven’t posted for a while. the had two workouts in the mean time. one upper body and one lower body work out. got some good pulls for the main exercises of the day on both workout. pulled a 365 x 4 on rack deads and put down a 345 x 5 and a 225 x 20 widowmaker on squat. got some good lifts on the other body parts as well. pushed out 65lb dbs for over 20 on flat press. still trying to get the shoulders up to par, the db presses weren’t too good. got a 50 x 17, rp’d. that’s all for now. tomorrow is cardio. i’m a little tired from the extra cardio and the little cut in teh calories, but i think its working out well.

got the last workout in before i start upping the cardio by a lot. want to shed some bf and drop from my current 220 to about 200-205. gonna try to keep the weights up and me operating at a good level. will be hard because summer school is coming up, but i’ll try my best to manage. did some good weights today. leg pressed 820 for 6 and got a widowmaker of 560, nice and deep (deeper than my usual leg press widowmaker). that’s all for now. summer school starts tomorrow.

got back into madison this week and had my first workout today. did upper body. solid weights. the pressing on the smith was a little weaker than i hoped, probably since i haven’t pressed on the smith since before i left madison to go back home. the deads went well. got a 345 x 7 and a 295 x 10. pretty happy with the results. solid pump. leg press and biceps are on tap for sunday. that’s all for now, time to get some carbs into the system and some egg whites.

did some good work on the quads and hams today. also hit some biceps with some db curls, did 40 x 30 rp’d. did sumo deads for 275 x 9 and front squats for 225 x 8. did a leg press widowmaker. pretty solid weights over all, i’m happy with the weights that got moved today. saturday is my last workout in hawaii before i go back to wisconsin for summer school

haven’t posted for a while, but its cause i haven’t lifted for a bit. nothing real new to report. just been trying to eat clean. its been a bit of a challenge since i’m at home and can’t do my own cooking and run my own nutrition. that’s all for now. tomorrow is my bday, gonna return to lifting as a "gift" to myself. try to hit some upper body, probably use the hammer machines since i’m at a new gym and my gym in wisconsin doesn’t have them. think i’ll deadlift, that’s always a lot of fun.

i guess finals and flying back home have taken me away from updating this blog. the weights have been pretty good, making good progress. seemed to have cut a little bit of fat and have a little bit more definition in my abs, they still aren’t good though. gonna try to take a break from the weights for about 10 days or so, only gonna do jiu jitsu and wrestling. its hard for me to stay away from the iron though. yesterday did some jiu jitsu. worked the muscles in a way that i hadn’t worked them for a long time. had to do some rounds of wrestling with some guys who were going for their blue belts and also had to do some straight jiu jitsu rounds with them as well. that’s all for now, beach on memorial day.

my ab seems to have healed up pretty good so i’m back to full strength. did some smith pressing with incline, military and cg bench all on the smith machine. upped the weight on the incline, so the reps aren’t there yet. pretty much expected it, i don’t normally up the weight on the bb smith presses and then have impressive rep numbers. did some good weight on front pulldowns. deads were the best yesterday. the grip felt real good. pulled 315 x 10 for my working set and also did a 285 x 12 as a "widowmaker". more stoked about how good the grip felt more than anything else. the grip has always been one of my weakest points and is often a limiting factor on whether or not i can go that extra rep. pretty sore as i type it right now. leg pressing is on tuesday, finals on wednesday and thursday.
