"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.  Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.  In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that Godsent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.  In this is love, no that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us."  1 John 4:7-12

As I strive to become more Christ like, one of the thing that i have found that i need to work the hardest at is loving those around me.  It is easier to love our family, there is a bond there, a deeper connection that makes it possible to love them even when they arent being very nice but loving those around us, loving our neighbors, loving those who hurt you, loving those who ignore you or talk bad about you, that is hard, but when we do this, there is great blessings to be had.  We humans are so far from perfect, we do things everyday that breaks Gods heart and yet He still loves us and forgives us.  Why is it so hard for us to do the same for our fellow man.  I know that sometimes it isnt "fair", but Jesus died and shed His blood to cover our sins knowing that we would intentionally sin against Him.  are we being fair to Him? every time win intentionally sin, are we being fair?  it is an interesting thought to ponder.  I have been getting better in this area of my life, loving those around me but it takes conscience effort on my part.  Every time i start to get upset, i have to step back and make a choice to forgive and then forget the issue at hand.  I have a very stupid ex who does stupid things and says mean things about me all the time.  when i start speaking negatively about him, it is ruins my whole day and my attitude goes to hell but when i stop myself, when i give it to God and speak blessings over him, i feel victorious.  There is a peace that is given to us when we learn to love those around us, even our enemies.  God commands us all throughout the bible to love, love your neighbor as yourself, love your brother, love those who persecute you.  I think that this valentines day would be a great time to set a goal to love instead of hate, love instead of gossip about, love instead of bitch, love instead of fight, love instead of getting upset.  try it, even if it is just for this one day, see if it doesnt make a huge difference in your life.  when someone around you upsets you, hurts you, makes you mad, actively love them.  try it, i think you might like it!

Yesterday the monchers and i and my mom and dad went to the reniassance festival outside of phoenix.  i was on my way to phoenix anyway and the kids and my dad had really been talking about wanting to go so kind of last minute decision to go was made.  The kids had fun, it was alot of walking and by the end of the day, i was beat.  The monchers loaded up with grandma and tonka and went back home and i went on to phoenix.  i stopped by the mall and went to victorias secret.   im a terrible addict, is there help centers for bra and panty addiction?   I then drove an hour across town to the area where the track is, got lost and wasted about 30 minutes driving in circles.  not that i was lost, just couldnt find what i was looking for, which was a decent motel!  finally found one and got checked in.  i was tired.  slept terrible last night as is typical for the first night i a motel room.  woke up at my usual 4 and prayed and read my bible and did some of my excercises.  i have to work the race track as the track vet today through weds.  which means that i get to walk all over the backside in the morning and do prerace checks on horses and then walk all around the track during the races checking out horses etc.  it is going to be a long long week.  i usually work 10-12 hours everyday at the clinic but i can sit down inbetween surgeries etc, here, it is going to be 10-12 hours of moving most all the time.  I will look at it as a great way to get excercise done, haha, just have to watch what i put in my mouth!

I wont be around anymore today, not till i get back to my room tonight, so im wishing all my wonderful friends a wonderful and happy valentines day!  i love you all!
