Going Stir Crazy…

Okay, maybe I’ve reached some sort of turning point in my attitude and priorities. But, this minimal workout is driving me crazy! I’m ready to really hit the gym hard and stick to a solid routine…just a few more days and my schedule is essentially clear through Christmas (oh, there’s one trip and the occasional meeting - but they are on regular nights and I can workout around them). I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets antsy when he, or she, doesn’t get to workout as often as she, or he, likes. But, it’s actually a relatively new experience for me. No, that’s not true, it’s a forgotten experience for me…I now remember that this is what used to keep me on track not too long ago!

I know what you mean, my work has me doing some crazy hours at different times of the day but no matter what I try and never miss a session.

I know what you mean Dave,
Sometimes I work 10- 12 days in a row and its tough. Sometimes I get out of work late but my goal for each day is to make it to the gym no matter what. For me, making it to the gym is my reward for making it through the daily grind. With your schedule clearing up up, try not to think too far ahead and attack each day as it comes. you can do it!

Sounds like you’ve got your bearings and are due for some great progress these next few months

I know what you mean Dave, if something happens to throw off my planned workout schedule I get irritable and can feel the stress building up inside me! I guess the fact this is happening is a true testament to how important weight lifting is in our lives!
