Latest Progress

About 2 months ago I completely overhauled my diet and rid my daily nutrition of 98% of the junk, meaning I still need my occasional treats! Overall this has been the best thing I could have done for myself. My body is really responsive to a near totally natural diet. About a month ago I actually started working with a figure coach and she has fine-tuned my program to fit me to a ‘T’. The pics I have posted are from just 2 weeks of working with my coach. I am already seeing even more progress since I took those pics a week ago. So I am really excited to finally be on the right path for me. My body fat is falling like crazy and my weight is steadily declining. My coach has me training in ways I have never trained before so my body is in constant shock. I appreciate all of the kind words of encouragement I have been receiving since I posted my pics a few days ago. Posting those pics was hard to do! I look forward to every minute of this journey and I am anxious to share my progress along the way with all of you! Thank you and best of luck to all of you!

1 Week In!

I decided to get serious about my diet and training 1 week ago yesterday. I have been dieting for a few weeks now, but I wanted to take my training to a new level so I enlisted the help of Jen Hendershott. I am using a diet that she created for me based on my schedule and likes/dislikes. The diet is VERY simple and easy to keep up with, but I do have to eat 8 times per day. The good news is that I made it through my 1st week which was the week me & my homeschooled kids went back to school. I knew if I could make it thru this week then I could handle just about anything =) This week was also crazy because we were in the process of buying a house and a new car so I have been away from my home more so this week than ever and I still managed to eat clean and prep all my meals! As far as training goes, I am strength training 5 days per week with 45 min of cardio 6 days per week. Although I am a certified PT I felt that it would be best to get some advice from a pro on my training as well so I am waiting on a training plan from Mrs. Hendershott as well. I figured I might as well get advice from the best of the best! I am proud to say that I have lost 2 pounds just since last Saturday!!! I am anxious to see what progress I can make once I incorporate the diet and Jen’s new training program into my life. I really feel I am on the right path to a total transformation. Although I did lose 60 pounds after giving birth, my body was still flabby and soft. I have muscle definition, but it is by no means where I want it to be. When I lost all the weight I did it all by myself, no pros, nothing. It was fairly easy, but I felt I could have made the journey a bit less confusing and frustrating (and quicker) had I asked for help from a pro. Now I know that I am doing what is best for ME to reach MY goals. I have not incorporated supplements into my plan yet because I simply do not know what is best! As I progress and learn more though I am sure I will be adding supp’s to my regimen. I will post again in a week and hopefully I can begin putting up progress pics soon!
