Out of reach. I wanted to run a 20:30, 3 mile. I crossed the line at 20:40. I look back and don’t see where I could have made up the 10 seconds. I guess there is always the next time. I did get the max on dead hang pull ups (20) and the max on the crunches in 2 mins (100). My score on the PFT was a 284 out of a perfect 300. Not bad considering the young Marines have a hard time keeping up with that. My next run time goal is going to be to shave 40 seconds and get down to a 20 flat.

Today started just like everyday. I woke at 0430 and was doing Marine Corps PT by 0500. Went started with a little 3 mile run with some thrashing of bodies in between. After the PT session I went to the gym and push myself to the limit. After my 2 workouts I did a max set of wide grip dead hand pullups (like I do after every workout). I was able to rep out 27. I am getting back to the shaped I was in when I was 22. I am about to be 33. Shouldn’t I be slowing down. Never!

I had to run my Physical Fitness Test today. It consist of a 3 mile run, pull-ups and max crunches in 2 mins. Well, I ate out last night at the local Mexican joint and had a few beers to drink. Not a good idea. I did my max of 20 pull-ups, and got 100 crunches in 49 seconds. Now when it came to the run, it was a different story. I thought for sure I was going to bite the dust. I ran a 22:35, 3 mile. Not to fast but, it was dramatic. I felt a heat stroke in the making. I will not drink that much again when I know it is going to be 80 degrees with 100% humidity at 7am. Water not beer is my lesson learned(again).

I have been on MHP’s T-Bomb II and SARMx for 2 weeks now. I am also taking NaNO Vapor. Taking this is making me feel as if I am superman in the gym. Today, I just kept the weight coming and could not get tired. I found myself pushing way past some personal limits. I have not experienced anything like it. The Marines that I work with said they are going to have to drug test me if I keep it up. They are kidding, I hope.

Monday was my first day back since my shoulder injury at the end of August. I am on a new mass workout and I am loving it. I have a partner now and we are pushing each other to the point of being sick. The busted blood vessels, throwing up, the shacks and all that good stuff is something I have been missing. Now I am back to it. I am going to push it and see how much size I can put on over the winter. I am hoping to hit the 200 mark. I have never been there, YET. The hard thing for me is keeping with my diet. I can follow it for a week really well, then I start to slip. Well, I will keep ya’ll posted on my progress.

I was doing my third set of barbell shrugs with 405 today and on my 8th rep, something didn’t feel right so I racked it. Now I have this bad pain in my right shoulder/colar bone area. The pain is nasty. I guess I am lucky I have the weekend to rest. Maybe someone has had this and can tell me what it was and what they did for the pain. I am really hard headed and don’t like to give up so, I will push myself until the arm falls off. I hope it is just something small. I have a big golf tournament in Myrtle Beach at the end of the month and don’t want to be injured for that. Rest or Push It? Only time will tell.

I started taking the MuscleTech, NaNo Vapor today. Man, this stuff is good. The one thing that was driving me nuts the whole workout was the tingle of my body. I guess the warning says it all. I just didn’t think it was going to be that bad. I am willing to do what it takes to put on size so, if I have to put up with my body itching, let it itch and I will scratch.

I have noticed that I have not be wanting to go to the gym or stick to any kind of diet lately. I am wondering if I am getting lazy or should I just change my freakin workout program. If anyone has an idea for me, I would love to hear it.
