Blog Entry
My training has changed alot since my daughter, Lily, was born. It seems that when you have a baby you can only sleep when they sleep…. who knew
. Some things that have come out of this…. less sleep, less drive, less gym time. I was starting to get to a point where I was really happy with the results I was getting, now it seems I don’t have much time at the gym anymore…. but I don’t mind. I thought I would, but like any good parent would say, my family comes first.
Before Lily was born I was on a five day split, monday through friday. Now I seem to be on a 3 day split with a 4th day sub in. I don’t know which days I will be able to make it, what time, and for how long. But what I have noticed is that I have been listening to my body more….. training what needs to be trained, what is ready for training, and what I can physically train on that day. My sets and reps are decided by how I feel, if I can do 10 more I do, if I can do 2 more sets I will. I can honestly say I feel I am making far better progress doing this than doing what I was doing before. In the last 3 weeks I have noticed so many changes in my body, shape, size, etc. and I am starting to get phsyched about training again. I guess we will see where this goes…..
