SHUT UP AND LIFT
No offense to anyone, but one of the most annoying things you can deal with in the gym is someone who wants to conversate while you are lifting. You would think that the ipod and or the zune would be there to kinda block ilde conversations, but not for some people. I’m not saying that a little chatter here and there is not ok. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy joking sometimes with people I know. I just think that when I come to the gym, it’s my time to focus on my workout. I’m focusing on things like my exercise, sets, repititions, weight, movements and so…… O yeah and did I forget to mension my music. When I hit the gym I ready to overload my muscles with more resistance then my last workout. The only way I can do that is by shutting my mouth, lifting, and not open my mouth again until I’m ready to drink water. These are just some thoughts that I had on my mind. Good luck to all your bodyspace members….keep training hard.

You got that right. I used to drive up to the gym and if a certain car was there I would go home and come back later. I’m there to workout.

IM OFFENDED!
haha, just playin. Same here, its quite annoying to be chatted up in between sets.
What I learned is, I’ll do a very small chat if I am resting more than a minute between sets. But as soon as I know the break is over and its time to lift, I cut the chatters off and tell’em Im getting back to my sets. They get the hint. And if they dont, too bad for them cause my headphones are already back in my ears…
