haha i just havent been able to get into a good diet since being back at college. Ive been out drinkin late and then im to busy and lazy to cook healthy. I decided this week im going to ease myself back into a healthy diet and plan on going full force in two weeks. Its time to turn myself around and start making the gains I should be!

Just finished eating some of my brothers birthday cake after being about 1 week into starting my healthier dieting. I just always find myself justifying why I should be able to eat something stupid and totally worthless. I know that if I can get over this that it’ll be the next step in me being healthier and getting more cut/tone which is what I am going for. I don’t need to lose weight necessarily but just need to firm up a bit. Ive always had a decent metabolism so I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted and still was able to have good abs… I’m sure a lot of people have the same problem but I have no idea what I can do to really stop my junk food urge. Ive tried eating just a little piece of chocolate or something like that but that just fuels the fire. If I can just get the stupid ice cream and things like this out of my diet I will be golden but I just do not have the willpower I guess.

I am getting real tired of being stuck on a plateau on my bench press. It seems that all my other workouts are making steady progress but i just cant get my bench going at all. Ive tried varying up supporting lift, varying up bench inclines and declines even chains… Nothing seems to help at all and it is very frustrating since my bench press weight isnt even that much. On a positive side I did dead-lifts a couple days ago for the first time in years and i think i fell back in love with them. Also after looking in the mirror yesterday I was kind of disappointed so I think I need to do a little more cardio.

Well its my first day out of college and I have the whole summer to look forward to. Only problem is in the next three days I have no gym to use because I am making some stops on my way back home. I thinks a few days off will probably help me though.
