My little honey is done with her radiation, and I can get serious with workouts; I started Muscle Hytrophy workouts from bodybuilding.com, arms, calves, and shoulders twice a week, plus changed protein to Muscle Tech Hardcore; hard to mix but tastes good, we’ll see if I see a difference at the end of the month.
Hi to Kathy, good luck with shoot; also Fern, good luck finding your son, tried to help you out there; and hi to Surf, hope the quad is better and keep the bulls running please!

Well, here we are, February 2008; my wife has been through two surgeries now, hoping she is done; I got back on track this past week with my workouts, culminating with a personal best 255 # deadlift, and I got it up pretty easy, I surprised myself. Did some squats before I deadlifted, so got a pretty good leg and glute workout today.
I hope my friend Kathy has a good time at the Arnold, she is so deserving and a great person and friend whom I respect very much, her hard work is amazing and I wish her the best. It would be fun to meet her someday, but she is in NY and I am in Tucson with my little honey, so alas not to be…
I would like to leave some words of encouragement to Fern; she is a little hard, but pretty and sexy; she needs to quit trying to be like the guys and just be a handsome, strong woman, she would be much sexier and find she would have more friends and supporters.
Holly, you are looking great, good luck at the Arnold if you are competing, you are a fine looking bodybuilder girl!

So, here we are, my cancer tests are negative, and my wife had her lumpectomy this week, she is doing fine and her lymph nodes tested negative so we are getting "back on track" with our lives.
I have done a lot of aerobics this week, 5:30 kind and afternoons too; now back to the weights, lifting some iron, I look forward to it and this afternoon is arms (bi’s and tri’s) and legs (leg press #300+, I love it!!!), and then some more aerobics.
thank you God for blessing us everyday, my best to Kathy, thank you dear for your kind words and friendship, it means a lot to me!!!

Back from the islands, Oahu was awesome and sunny and windy everyday, this is the time of year of heavy treadwinds from the northeast; some sprinkles every day but 80 deg. in the day and only 72 at night so there is no "cold" to speak of.
Workouts mostly Aerobics, the hotel had some dumbells so I used them to do 50lb hammer curls, or I would run the rack doing hammers; some chest work too using the 50# dbs, incline presses. Looking forward to getting back home and doing some deadlifting and squats; I am thinking about entering the sr. olympics here in Tucson, they have weighlifting (bench, squats, deadlift). We will see!
Hello to Kathy and Holly, hope all is well…

78 deg. and sunny, rain expected this weekend (big storm coming from Southern Cal);
Workout today: deadlifted and shoulder shrugs when I woke up, plus some aerobics, (intervals) on the treadmill; will go to the clubhouse gym this afternoon and work on the back some more (wide grip and reverse grip pulldowns, maybe some pullups), and do some hack squats (310#); finish up with aerobics, 30 min. if I can stand it!
Hope all is well, hi to Kathy in NY and Holly in Las Vegas!!!

“What we do in life, echoes in eternity”, I love those words from General Maximus, words to live by! We always think we are insignificant to the grand scheme of things, but we are not; we each influence so many people, our loved ones, friends, aquaintences, so many. So we have a duty to Do as I Say and Do as I Do! I have been very busy getting a home sold and buying another, finally got that done and will be moving the week after Thanksgiving, not far but to a new community in a brand new home with very little care needed, and a great recreation center nearby with a wonderful fitness facility, machines and free weights. So I can do my home stuff on my Smith machine and free weights, and then go do some speciifc exercises at the fitness center, I am phsyched! I start my Hawaii Christmas workouts on Thursday, going to hit it hard, including the dredded Aerobics, lose some fat, get more muscle, and look my best on the beach at Wakiki; we are staying at the Hyatt Resort and will continue my two a days through the week of Christmas. I am sure they have wonderful fitness center, with everything we will need to keep away the aging as long as we can. I say hello to Kathy and to Holly, my two favorites on the site, Kathy you are a great person and look so pretty and I really appreciate your caring, and Holly, you are also an inspiration and look so great with your muscular physique while still maintaining your femininity! Thanks to you both!!!
Everyone have a great Thanksgiving next week, see ya around!!!

Been a long two weeks. I have done a lot of deadlifting and arm work; did squats yesterday and shoulders today, been a few weeks since I isolated any body parts; will do arms again later today using bodybuilding.com 15 heavy rep, two set routine, biceps and triceps.
I have been tearing phone books in half just for fun, to test my strength; I ordered a bunch of extra yellow books. Here are some shots of those efforts, a lot of people in the office are amazed; once you have the technique, and the grip strength, it seems to get easier to do, at least for me. See Progress pictures for an example…
Kathy, hope all is well you pretty lady, your transformation is quite inspiring! I have been at it since 2002, Feb. I believe. So I know all the work you have put in, and you look fantastic. My best to you!

Here we are five games into the college football schedule; Colorado won last week, had big upset of the week vs. Oklahoma (27-24), WOW! Now Baylor in Waco, good luck to the Buffs and GO BUFFS!!!
I did aerobics yesterday and some extensions for my knee, then we played all day, even some casino time. It was fun. Last night I ripped up another phone book just to test my skills and my strength, quite fun!
Today will mix in college football on HD, with lifting (maybe squats and deadlifts), or deadlifts and bench pressing, then tomorrow is always arm day (biceps and triceps).
Ya’ll have a good weekend, hello to Kathy and congrats to you again!!!
